really?? how is facebook getting theirs? The only people its really effecting are the users..for now.

Facebook gets free publicity, and who knows there are probably some who joined up just to get their cheap thrills.

This is not an attack on facebook in my opinion..its just another attack on humans, using a piles of crap that these pervs have stockpiled.

that is so sad, and an example of the extreme damage caused by this sort of stuff.

Sadly , there are those who will laugh at the loss of life, and the cruelty and perversions of this world.

I am so sic of humanity today , and what lengths some will go through to satisfy their egos and play head games with people.

Like I said earlier, I have never used facebook, but I respect the right of those that do.. and they should not have to put up with BS like this.

Good grief..who really wants to live a thousand years on a planet with this type of behavior..
I am ready to check out now...really really sic of this world and the mindsets of so many.

But think about the millions of young children who could be potentially mentally scarred for the rest of their life.

we take it like a bonus.
Its maybe the reason why we find it funny ?

But worry not.

I miss the good old times when we used landline phones and postcards to send/receive information.

I hate Facebook and websites like it, and I hate all the hysteria and the "like" frenzy that comes with it.
If these problems are caused by Anonymous, well done Anonymous, and nice to see that something finally is happening with FB.
I guess that this mostly is effecting the users, but it still have potential to get people away from FB for a while. Perhaps they will get annoyed and go outside and enjoy a nice day in the sun, or meeting up a friend in the park and take a walk, instead of just sitting in front of the computer "liking" stuff and/or posting cr*ppy pictures of their dinner plates...

And if not, I am still having fun about it.

The Facebook the Facebook the Facebook is on fire
We don't need no water let the m*th*rf*ck*r burn
Burn m*th*rf*ck*r burn!

Reminds me of when anonymous/4chan did there youtube porn day a while back. Bascially they uplaoded hundreds of justin beiber and pop videos, which were actually hardcore porn videos.

I've seen my Facebook newsfeed full of gore and porn the last few days. lol This is 4chans style, i would put money on it the people behind this are 4channers.

Do you realise what FB is doing to their "fan base" these days? They're selling us out left and right. I use facebook and I personaly think it should crash and burn. Those guys wouldnt attack FB without reason. They're too big for that. They're all about making a statement. Not all of the statements are bad... this is one of them that on the justified side. I dont condone hacking, but I dont condone selling off personal information and using it against their own member base. How many people that signed up for FB in the very beginning went... "Oh this is cool.. and in 10 years they'll sell me out and tell my boss what I put on my facebook..." Sure, it's public for all to see... IF you want all to see it. No one should control what you own... this means YOU.

How is this wrong?

Thats right..facebook shouldn't be selling their stuff.. but people know that and have the choice to get off..not sign up.. or put up with it...correct?

they DID NOT sign up to be on facebook , and have their job or marriage/relationship in jeopardy because of these attacks on facebook..

Once again it the innocent are the ones who suffer..the innocent are the ones who get their life turned upside down..

Its the 15 year old that gets inundated with harassment because of the porn ,and who ends up taking her own life.

If they want to attack facebook for lack of privacy..shut the site down...and make them lose that way.. period.

If you can't see how illogical this is, and how so many innocent people who have nothing to with how facebook operates are suffering the ramifications of these attacks.. I don't know what else to say.

Correct, but???

I cant subscribe to "the people knew what they were getting into". Not when this all came about this year. Hell, I didnt know FB was tossing out my info like that. Sure, I figure there would be some email info and DOB info sold to 3rd parties, but not to companies as background checks. It's simply not true to say that people know about this stuff.

My mom uses facebook. She's the most computer illiterate person I know. Trust me.. lol Amaizing to me she actually got that far. Yet, she has no clue what FB does. Who reads the fine print? Hell... Who can? Then, how many people do you think are educated "enough" to understand it?

They did not sign up to get their privacy sold, especially when they're not getting a dime for their own information. That's not just theft, but theft of privacy and identity. Just as with TV shows... I can push the same argument back on you and say..... It's the internet. People should be careful what they allow their children access to.

But on the flip side... Parents are allowing their childrens identity to get stolen and sold and every bit of information as well. If a child goes off about their parents. The parents can have them delet the info. What if the info is detramental to "something", anything... Buisness, court desisions, whatever... That information does not go away. It's copied and presented forever... for a price. Someone is selling YOUR life... That's ok with you?

You know, the innocent suffers... But they are suffering at the hands of FB too. One is justified for fun sake and the other isnt? That makes no sense to me.

Like many people, you may settle for the lesser of both evils.. But I say to hell with all evils. If the system is broken and they dont want to fix it... put a match to it and watch the pretty light!

I think you may be confused... What 15 year old would take their own life because of porn on FB? Perhaps one where he/she is involved with it? That would be FB's problem too because whatever she/he puts of themselves, FB will whore it out to a 3rd party for money, leaving the innocent victim without a penny from their own lives being sold.

There certainly MUST be more to it. You just dont open up facebook, see a naked woman and blow your brains out... That's just retarded. Hell, that sounds retarded.

If that teen had pictures of themselves up that they didnt want anyone to see.... You think about this for a second.. This one is obvious.

I agree. They should have killed FB compeltely. I would have rejoiced!

But they didnt. They wanted to have a lil fun, maybe in hopes of pushing FB to do the right thing.

That's what they're doing on OWS, right? Same concept, just not as ummm.. nude. But just as dirty.

If you can't see how illogical this is, and how so many innocent people who have nothing to with how facebook operates are suffering the ramifications of these attacks.. I don't know what else to say

That, my friend.. Goes both ways. What may seem llogical to you makes all the sense in the world to me. Are you telling me that your opinion is more correct than anothers? Innocent people, as you suggest, have control over their lives... They should quit FB if it offends them... right? I mean, hell, that's how everything else works.

I'm sorry you're at a loss, for I always have something to say.... as you can tell

Ok..fair enough.. facebook is scammy...and I agree with most of your post.

I still do not understand why they would attack them in a way that harms the users who are already abused by them?

It's like throwing rocks at the people who just got their food stolen from them , because you're mad at the guys who stole the food?

lol I get the jest. But FB has been doing this to their users since the start. If anon jumps in to help the lil guy, I'm all for it. If they throw porn in the mix... Well... It's not the nicest of ways of getting attention, but it works.

It's like saying... Either you stop dicking your customers over or we're make it to where you wont have anyone left to steal from.

That's what I'm taking out of it. Sometimes people have to take seriously debated steps to make the smallest of changes, these days.

Who knows.. Maybe FB will offer them office space for $1 a year and free farmland too.

seriously debatable is true.. if you want to stick it to facebook.. the best way of course would be to stick it to the people they have been dicking around..makes alot of sense..

For most facebook users.. they know the implications by now of what being on facebook entails..some choose to stay and some not.. I hardly think shooting a bunch of garbage pics at the users using it now.. will give any credit to those trying to harm facebook.

lol That's not really what I'm saying, nor do I feel it is this way. I dont think that anon is 'sticking it to the people'. To me, it's kind of like a battlefield.

You state your possition and why action is taken. Those in the middle, the innocent (hardly hehehe) bystanders have the ability to turn it off for a few days till it blows over, or get out for the same. Just as we recall our citizens in a country that's about to be blown to hell...

ok, so it's not quite like war. lol It has it's similarities.

Lets look at it another way.

Lets say a porn site has been stealing their users information and had been selling it to whoever. Same thing FB does (actually pretty much any social, porn or any damn site at all will do this!). It's porn. You would find, normaly, adults there. Lets say FB goes anti Porn and starts putting Ads up all over the place of... hmmm wedding pictures.. (hey, I'm tryin to find something counter to compare! lol)

So all the people in porn land go nuts cause it hurts their eyes... Even better, lets say it's something that disgusts people on a porn site *(highly doubt this but hey.. it's the only example I have)* like say granny porn. ok... REALLY OLD granny porn. Hey, whatever it takes...

I, probably like you, feel that FB shouldnt collide with another entity in such a childish way. Yet, as free people, we are told to stand up and fight against opression, against the things we wont stand for any way we can.

If I was to suggest that all those involved with ANON are also users of FB, which some probably are, then those persons should be allowed to stand up to the thing that abuses them and their identity in any way they feel justifies the need. A gun for a gun, a knife for a knife, etc.. But in this case... They chose porn.

It beats burning down or mail bombing the FB company HQ. If it only comes to porn, where no chance of death on either side, and the only thing you have to worry about is red faced pride.... I'll take that over bombs and bullets any day. I'll take that over occupy since, as we see, our own government is desinsitiezed to it's citizens anyways, and would like to see much more "force" come out of it. It doesnt stop with FB. SO many companies and businesses are taking advantage of us, stealing from us no matter what our rights are, yet they do so and not one damn official stands up to stop it... Instead... We have hackers.. And I for one am greatfull that SOMEONE stands up for us..

When no one else stood up... these guys did. I'm not even pro hacking (anymore) and I think these guys did well with minimal real damage. Loosing every single FB customer would have been minimal damage imo.

Use something wisely and it'll become a tool to do good things.. Use it wrongly, and the world will eventually let you know about it when they finaly get enough. Sometimes in ways we should never consider, but such things escallate.

Wars have been started and thousands of people die for far less reason.

I accept your possition as you do have the right to feel the way you do, and I for one would not take that from you. There is nothing wrong in seeing a bit diffrently from one another... so long as we can walk shoulder to shoulder on the way out of this place.

Welp...My nutcase ex run with this recent FB #up and used it to upload a picture on his wall.
It actually looks spitting image of me performing fellatio, except I haven't had hair that crap since I was 12 and I certainly wasn't performing anything other than the school Christmas play in those days.
Still anyone who looking at who has seen me might assume it's me.

Creepy bastard he is. I don't know whether to alert his mental health Councillors, or what.
