Found a phone

Just thought I'd say that these phones and other things such as USB devices have been planted to open eyes, direct people here if they are curious to see more, not to question honesty, I'm sure someone else has posted a link to the thread discussing this. Notice how it was a battered old phone?

Anyway OP, hope you found the information you have read interesting and continue to read more, a pinch of salt is required at times may I add

Welcome to this site! I assumed most people would ignore those phones, but I am glad they reached out to someone. I normally don't post on here, but I just thought a noteworthy thread is a thread by hidden-hand called "A window of opportunity."

I doubt the story to be honest.....conveniently this person who found it was into this kind of stuff. Most people would delete the stuff off the phone and stick it on ebay.

I'm with you on this. I'm not buying it.I'm betting he/she read the other thread.. could be wrong though.One way to be proven wrong would be for the member who left phone to come forward. Since they did say what kind of phone and where it was left,shouldn't be too hard right? Btw,welcome op!

Clearly this isn't an 'honesty test', those who place the phones initially are not expecting them to come back. Duh!

I've an old(ish) Nokia lying around that would be worth trying this with. On the other hand it'll probably come back in fashion soon. I also happen to think a phone is better than a, possibly, virus riddled USB drive.

I do like the concept as a whole nevertheless.
