This seems to be a possible Chupacabra (or mangy coyote) killed in Simpson county, MS. Please read this small article and tell me what you think. Mississippi Chupacabra

Pretty sure this is a dog.

This Truitt Barnard is a POS of the highest degree, imo. He sees something he doesn't recognize so he shoots it?

This asshat shot a hairless dog.

This looks exactly like my dog only a different color. You can google 'whippet' and it should show you some very similar looking 'chupacabras'.

EDIT: If you are too lazy to look it up here is a picture of my dog.
Sorry but imgur seemed like the best option here. Link

The government is doing genetic tests and creating strange creatures and I think they are either letting some go on purpose or they are escaping. A man with extraordinary long fingers and five hole drilled in his head was found close to plum island. www2.timesreview.com... I have not made a determination of what it could be. I would be inclined to say hairless canine of some sort. Also, I certainly won't bash a man for shooting an animal on his property.

It appears to be a fox.

Still think the guy is an a-hole for shooting first thing.

Unless the ears were clipped or bitten off it's not the same animal. The op's pictures link shows an animal with rounded ears and the tail wasn't long like a fox's.

It seems like a dog or coyote with mange, that is my best guess.
