I am an odd one, and even I think so. Why? I try to find humor or a lesson in every situation I encounter. If I took myself, or everything too seriously I don't think I could survive.

Given the state of the world, and your own life, what do you do to make it through a day?

Ah,and so, sad to see it has to be induced, your coping mechanism that is.

What would you do if that weren't available? I mean if you were only left with yourself to deal with getting through a day?

Seriously, I manage to find humor in even the mundane stuff. Take for instance doing laundry. You can bet I'm going to put something in the drier that shouldn't go in there......I refuse to read the washing labels.....

Perhaps my way is to set myself up to laugh at almost anything!

I have a happy place, too. It's called myself.

I am responsible for making myself happy, nobody else is going to do it for me.

great..have fun with that..

What gets me through the day is believing that love is stronger than any malicious , greedy, arrogant corrupt force that is out there.

Mostly that, and the odd chuckle or two

There are many types of love..and a universal love.. does not need to be loved..it is love.

Yes, and love doesn't cost a dime. It's there for the taking, and if everyone just realized how easy it is to aquire or give out, the world would be a better place!

I like my meatsuit. I was blessed with a good one. I really like the feeling I get from it when I am offered a hug, or a kind word from somebody else.

My meatsuit allows me to accomplish so many things. I want to be in mine for quite some time to come!

The things that gets me through the day/my life is...

Cigarettes... many many many cigarettes
Coffee, many many cups
and Music... gotta have my music...
The sweet sweet Love of my Wife

The above is the basic... gotta have it everyday, cant live without it...

Also these other things make my life live able and keep me pushing forward...

The sweet sweet love I make with my wife

Creating or building something with my hands

The events my family throws...
Food, beer and laughter

And Hope that one day Armageddon happens and all my debts are erased

I usually go thru and read the ATS guidelines for posting a thread at least once a day. You should try it.

Oh, my gosh, are you a member of the ATS cop squad?

The whole point of this thread is to not take yourself so seriously.

Do you also perhaps wrap your garbage up a couple of times in neat little piles before putting it in the dumpster, too? Good Lord, there is always one in every crowd!

Hey while you are at it, watch me closely. I am really bad at spelling, and all sorts of other things related to typing. I suppose you are a spelling Nazi too, huh? Frustrated wanna be moderator, perhaps?

Anyway, thanks for the laugh!

Breathing, a lottery fantasy, and the hope that I might have a front row seat to the end of the world/human race.

Some days I have trouble breathing.

Sorry to hear about your breathing problems.

I have lottery fantasy too, it's that I never take the ticket to be redeemed because everyone else I know would have figured out how to spend the winnings before me! I just hold onto it for the sheer fact I was so lucky! I'd probably just hang the ticket in a frame on the wall after the expiration date, just to see how people would react seeing it. I bet that would be priceless!
