Like i said in other thread.. I Love how gradually more and more people becomes aware of how bad the things are. The TPTB ´ll try to do anything on its hands in order to prevent this movement from reach a critical mass from there is no return point.

And those were non-violent, so just imagine what would happen if one of those police officers tries to do to the veterans what they did to non-veterans.

As a veteran, I feel a little uneasy to see this separation placed between veterans and non-veterans. It is an embarrassment to see how any citizen is treated by police under these circumstances, be they veterans or not.

I am former Army.I don't think you understand what's going on here. This isn't a protest to stop logging in the amazon. This(i wouldn't call it a protest)demonstration of our rights is for the future of my country. This is serious! If i was remotely close i would put on my class A's and go joining them in protecting our citizens because god knows the police aren't going to.

My, aren't you precious.

By the way, is that how you farm boys spell neck? It's like you outlanders have your own little language there in Hooterville.

I was going to comment on that.....but thought better of it. However, one thing I can't pass up is that he makes it sound like the storm troopers are coming to steal everyone's money, and that the masses are evil, yet his avatar suggests that he is one of them....Amazing hypocrisy....Oh and the bail outs were the redistribution of wealth, Americans wealth to elite pockets and foreign governments.....So it is wrong when people protest that? Thought that was a civil liberty, you know the one at the top of the list.?.

this is rediculous just like comet elenin claims... there are no marines going there to 'protect' the protestors... do you think any of those ultra progressive liberals are going to welcome the Military there?

PUHLEEZE!!

I'm sure the goverment wouldn't send in the troops like everyone is saying. Last thing they want is that getting out when they started the war in libya when they fired on the protesters. All i can say is if they show up in uniform and get blowback from the marines it could always be spun as a hero of the people and the fact that 15 want to stand now it will spread like wildfire in the ranks in a mater of weeks. I agree with the list of demands 100% it would remove most of the corruption from the goverment and the rest would be sorted out later I'm sure the elite are squirming now they must have there bags packed and ready to make a break for there bunkers.

This is just my 2cent opinion and I am only one old woman living in Alaska, but I think the media blackout is due to the fear that the heart and soul of America is STILL alive and well, even if sleeping or lulled into a trance with toys and shiny TV shows.

TPTB do not want the average Joe to see their fellow citizen's being oppressed and abused because, like myself who mostly disagrees with the groups that started this occupation, and their desired outcome, I do WHOLE HEARTEDLY support their right to do so. I am pretty conservative and this protest is mostly being about the left and their idea of a better way. That said I am open minded enough to watch the feed and I see MANY young, perhaps misinformed or misguided young people PASSIONATE about trying to make a difference. The youth are our future and while I might not agree with their desired outcome I respect and admire their passion. I was once as liberal and as passionate to make the world a better place. I like to think as I grew older, I grew wiser...but I never stopped wanting a better future for my children and their children.

I see this movement as the best awakening of the next generation to date and I will support and defend their right to protest peacefully against anyone they view as their oppressors.

TPTB do not want my generation rallying to this cause and the hypnotized, brainwashed masses to REMEMBER that United We STAND, divided we fall.....

They FEAR the left/right, young/old, rich/poor uniting to defeat a common foe! Plain and simple

Very true for what is a soldier but a citizen who fights for his country when it is under attack,
everyone out there fighting this parasite is a soldier now, because without doubt our countrys are under attack.

The former president, himself said....they needed the money....so "financial institutions" aka BANKS could keep lending to YOU. In case you forgot.....this speech by G. Dub, back in 2008, is packed with information, you might want to hear again. The protestors must have missed these nuggets of info, during their slumber. Listen to what the man was saying...then tell me, who's fault this really is? All ye that borrow!!!

Take off your blinders, asshat...

It's good to see that our military service men will stand up to protect the people, let's see if these corrupt cops have the balls to pepper spray another woman in the face with a marine standing there.

Very wise words and a nice observation if only more people like you would consider this movement because it is for you the 99% if you partake and more with your views do then the outcome will be what the 99% want. A far fairer outcome for both sides of the same fence would come out of the movement and im sure there are plenty others involved with parallel views to you, because remember the 99% is us after.

Hmmm? This attendance by the US Marines in uniform could bite them when they get back to base?

Active duty military told no uniforms in protests

Military guidelines state that troops may attend demonstrations only in the United States, only when they are off base and off duty, and, most critically, only when they are out of uniform.

They had better be careful. For the most part, I have not paid much attention to this protest, their message, or activities on Wallstreet. They seem like your usual Socialist and Communist lot? Spread the wealth, eat the rich, and so on as so forth. They ought go back to their coffee shops or college campuses to spew their propaganda. I agree the little guy is getting raked over the coils. I had that feeling long before these protesters left Long Island and the Hamptons to occupy Wallstreet. Who are they kidding? Go back to Starbucks or entertain themselves with their smartphones and IPads. They are just looking for attention, and I would be amazed if these activists truly come from the lifestyles they claim to be in support of? Very skeptical about this engagement on Wallstreet. I guess I am a perpetual cynic? As for these Marines, if they are on active duty it would be in their best interests to use caution before proceeding.

Theyre going to need more than Class A's brother. This goes on much longer theyre going to need real defense, because soon the cops will get the order to disperse the crowd and then comes the rubber bullets and water cannons and sonic weapons. Shouldnt they be doing this in washington d.c.? The government are the ones being bought by these tycoons.

As a prior combat vet who has done much soul searching over the past 5 or so years due to his actions I speak as an authority when I tell you that no man or woman that would engage in this act has not given consideration into what they are about to be a part of and the possible if not likely ramifications of those actions. Just to clarify, they know what they are doing and they know what the consequences are.

Many of you are centering on the rules that these men and women would be breaking under the UCMJ and you would be correct but you are failing to center on the most important aspect of this and that is that first and foremost these brave men and women have an obligation to defend the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. There is no higher calling. These fine men and women have seen beyond all the propaganda and see clearly how they are being used to not only not defend it but dare I say destroy it. In one voice they are saying "we are not now nor will we continue to be useful idiots, we will not be used as a mechanism of demise of the very document we have sworn to defend.

I agree wholeheartedly there is quite likely a rough road ahead for these soldiers, but maybe just maybe the establishment will see through this heroic act that this will not stand on our watch. I applaud my brothers and sisters and I wish that I were able to stand side by side with you but know that your actions are appreciated and in my eyes will be remembered as the most heroic act you have ever performed. God bless you all and much courage.

...and perhaps the innocent hurt, that later becomes an unintentional martyr to rally the cause around?

We aren't there yet, but the potential for something really bad to happen, is there.

Yeah, it has the potential to be the second shot heard round the world, except this time the tyrants are coming from our own country.
