So what do you think it is

Link sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov...

Is it just from the CME or a comet I don't know maybe. It's in the same place the CME was.
So what do you think.

Thanks

It looks like a glitch, but if not, it is huge and very very hot.

we dont know what it is

we can only conjecture from a list of remote possibilities
- a planet
- a star
- a comet
- a elenin
- a niburu
- a sunsucker
- a ringmaker
- a death star
- an espresson machine

interesting find though, guess we will have to add it to the other 2 million unexplained things going on around here

If you d/load the original image, and then zoom in on
the object, it seems to have a smoke trail behind it.

Three one liners in a row on this thread wonder if that's a record probably not

Anyway it's not a glitch looks like it's leaving a trail.
And another thing Soho seems to be only updating only two images a day anyway never mind.

Thanks

I doubt that it is a record. A trail you say? Interesting to say the least. Then, if it is not a glich and it is a trail, not being an expert on such matters, I wonder if it might be a comet?

Only 2 lines, hold on, I will make it into 3.

A comet you say hmmmmmm. Well if that is a comet it
is a mighty huge one. If we were to say it is a comet just how
big would you estimate it to be.

I think it s Elenin. Its perihelion is on September 11, 2011 (3 days away). From what I have read, it is just going to be bigger as it approaches that date, and then on September 27, supposedly something awesome will happen!

Graciously accepted!

It may actually be one of the US Navy Space Command's vehicles that they are using to save us from the sun's ejaculations.
