Not to worry! I found a cereal that everyone on ATS can buy! I'll bet many here are already addicted to it!

Haha! I thought the line "...the first of many pop-rock/soda deaths of the 70's" showed my kidding...Weren't there a series of rumors that little mikey died? I could have sworn I heard something about him being a roadie for Kiss and exploding in flames or some such...

I knew you were kidding! I thought it was pretty funny!
I never heard bout him being a roadie for Kiss, sounds very plausable.

He is still the meanest CEREAL KILLER in my book!

I miss Frankenberry : (

They don't make that anymore? What is this world coming to?

They still make them but, they only sell it, along with Boo Berry and Count Chocula during the Halloween season in most places.

You have to remember to stock up when you see them because they usually disappear fast.

Makes you wonder about the intelligence of the company that make them; if they sell out fast at halloween time, why not keep them out all year?

I have an unhealthy obsession with Captain Crunch! Other personal favorites are Count Chocula, Tony The Tiger, and Toucan Sam.

This takes me waayyyy back....

1) Fruit Loops (Toucan Sam)

2) Trix (silly rabbit Trix are for kids)

3) Sugar Pops (Corn Pops)

All guaranteed to make us hyperactive as heck when they didn't have adderall etc to calm us down. Wild Indians!!

Trix was a big one for me as a kid. They had this ad campaing in the early 70's where you could vote on whether or not the rabbit should get the Trix or not. You could mail off a form from the cereal box and vote Yes or No. They would then send you a button you could wear that showed whether you voted Yes or No. I thought that the poor rabbit would starve if he didn't eat so I voted Yes.

I remember the day I got that button in the mail and how excited I was, I wore that button every day!
I wish I still had that button!

Dang it.... I think I just told an "Old Man" story! (that's what my kids tell me)

Haha I love it.

Count Chocula! That has been my favorite since I was a kid. Chocolate and marshmallows.

I also like Lucky Charms and Frosted Mini Wheats
