Thanks - and you just reminded me of another great track by (Jon &) Vangelis...

- I'll find my way home

Yes, “I'll find my way home”, is my favorite Vangelis song… along with this…

State of independence, by Vangelis

And speaking of Sigur Ros…this verion of the song is just awesome…

Hoppípolla (Heima), by Sigur Ros

Yeah - i love both versions of state of independence - thought about putting the j&v version earlier but changed my mind. Really wanted to stick with songs that can make you cry or soar off to someplace special - not just great songs

that place in that vid is called Odin's Horseshoe (ive been there... amazing country & people) - it's pretty much the only place in Iceland that has trees

I know what mean, and that’s what I was trying to do lol but I don’t think I quite covered the “make em cry” part…

So…here is the most beautifully heartbreaking piece of music, that I’ve ever heard..

Central Park, by James Newton Howard, from the movie King Kong

The "mad world" video with the people creating different images was incredible

2:
The riptide song is one of my all time favorite songs, and whoever just posted it introduced me to it for the first time.

Thank you from the bottom of my wee twisted heart for introducing me to Armstrong and Miller! How did I ever miss them? Live without them?

I'm a Tom Lehrer fan... I bet they were too..

Great thread and great participation from everyone. I'm learning a lot about the lot of you.

Be back with a few 'tunes' I'm partial to in a bit...

This is new (for me at least) and I just FLY with this song... I just fly...

Here's something a bit different that still causes me to get that 'tune fix' I need...

And something different all together... Love the tune, not so much the words...

Last but not least... Sami Yusuf

And this one just plane breaks my heart...

Enjoy
&
Peace

Trance music from early 2000 onwards really moves me.

Some absolute beauties from times gone by. It touches me like no other genre.
