This sucks. The world didn´t end on 21 may and still nothing in the news about any UFOs. I guess the impersonator got caught and disappeared into thin air?

I don´t like hoaxes but it really peaked my curiousity and now im sad.

There was two "hoaxes sightings" on mufons ufo tracking site. Both were 8 lights in a triangle. Pretty much in identical.

Other then that it was a fail.

Of course with this fail Anon will claim they were being impersonated. Thats why they have no official site. So they can use that excuse when they fail.

I still think its a bunch of children/ teens with a ego.

I think that the fact that there weren't more false reports just go to show that this prank didn't have the majority of Anon's backing. Maybe they won't say they were 'impersonated', but it would certainly be true for the vast majority of Anonymous to say that they as a collective had barely anything to do with it.
I think it would be foolish for anyone to judge the collective banner of Anonymous just because of this.

But you wouldn't if you'd spent some time with about 500+ of them in London when they protested against Scientology a few years back.

A lot of people are too busy embracing ignorance when it comes to Anon and picking out single incidents instead of researching what they've done properly.

So I guess nothing happened, and no one is to blame because of obvious reasons. That's OK because I didn't care much for this idea anyway, and to be quite frank it was pretty stupid. It's like turning over your cards before you make a bluff in poker. Yes, it was quite idiotic.
