Hey everyone, we need a little help deciding on what to watch here. The wife and I are staying in tonight and are looking for a thought provoking film. Any ideas?

Stranger then fiction or Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. Chose your poison.

Donnie Darko is a good flick if you like deep dramas. Inception was a fun ride. What type of film are you looking for? Action, Drama, Horror, Comedy?

You are on to something there. Inception like films. We've never seen Donnie Darko. Seems to always come up in the suggestions. Cerebral thriller type films.

"The Thirteenth Floor"

Virtual Reality Sce/fi from 1999. It went virtually unnoticed. Had several well known actors and a good budget but just never hit the big time. A thinkable movie.

Donnie Darko is great. One of my favorite films. A drama though and kinda depressing over all... but I love it hehe

"eXestenZ"

Another never made it big virtual reality flix from 99. Deeper thought needed to follow this one, or maybe I was just to blitzed.

We have a netflix account. Anything within the last twenty years or so. Movies that are similar Shutter Island, Inception, Donnie Darko, The Fountain, etc.

PI.. Let me add a vote for this one. I saw it twice. Esoteric and it left me floating. My wife hated it thought.

Jacob's Ladder

The Razor's Edge (Bill Murray's version, probably his best)

A Beautiful Mind

ETA...

If you watch The Razor's Edge, watch Caddyshack soon after. There is a scene in Caddyshack that is a reference back to it.

I love it, it gets the brain cells really going if you get me

Woman do seem to hate it, well my missus did not like it either.

I think it is because there are a lot of black and white scenes, colour wise that is and everyone knows that women only see grey in life
