The Powers That Be are our friends!

Come on. Ever wonder why they call it Big Brother? That's because he's there for you! Because honestly, with all those demon-crazed truth seekers, I'm glad to know that they are watching my every move. What if I become one? Then I have my friends to set me straight, and that's what a brother is for!

We are so easily misguided as humans. Just because police bend our human rights a little bit, doesn't mean it's okay for us to argue with them. They have a rough job, guns are heavy and dangerous, and tazers really don't hurt *that* bad. If they bust down my door, it's probably because I crossed the line. So today I am getting rid of my books, like 1984 which is all propaganda against socialism - which is actually the safest form of government.

We are in threat of constant attack, we need them to protect us from ourselves. Thought crimes are the worst crimes. Burn your books, because what have they really done for you? You still struggle every day do you not? Well not me any more. I'm going to get a nice federal job, maybe as a mailman. A job where I can help censor what mail people get and do not get, because there is a lot of disinformation out there!

You all talk about Satan, and the illuminati. But Satan's never said a single bad thing about you, and everyone knows illuminati means LIGHT. Bilderberg HAS to do everything in secret, to help put our minds at ease from the horrors of truth.

So our water has a couple chemicals in it, but it all tastes the same to me. And speaking of taste, I like flouride, even if some of you say it's bad. I use extra, my teeth are so white it hurts. Don't listen to those evil documentaries about how the powers that be are "buying up all the water" - someone has to, would you rather it be you? I could never convince all those people to work for practically nothing, but they can, and that's why they have the job.

I'm not saying suck it up, I'm saying embrace it. We let people like Jesse Ventura and Julian Assange stomp around and try to ruin their perfect plan. Ventura is a wrestler, and a bully, neither are good qualities. And Assange has clearly commited sexual assault - but on our lives. I want to know more about what Republicans think of Democrats, I am tired of hearing about this "transparency" stuff. You know what would happen if we lived in a transparent world? We wouldn't be able to see anything.

I think it's down right... disrespectful! After all, you owe it to the powers that be. You were born.

It's a vicious cycle...

Some say U.S gov't is working for the TPTB and they are evil... but some say they stand for freedom and then cite hundreds of examples from aid to Africa to fighting terrorists. We stand up against Korea and some say it's bad, some says it's part of the world dominiation plan. [in my eyes, U.S is both the agressor and defendor]

Some say floride in the water, others says thats bull because in the long run with the health defects and it wouldn't help with depopulation and just cause more money to be dumped into healthcare [which is "free" in Canada]

Some say Big Brother is there to help.. Some says it's to spy. I don't care I'm on camera in public, some believe it's a direct violation of their rights.

I could go on for hours..

You could have an awesome Big Brother that buys you ice cream and beats up bullies for you, or you could have Big Brother than pushes you in the dirtand doesn't let you do anything for your "protection".

I don't want to bore ATS members with a post of info that they already know. How about you give us some REAL info on how BB is helping us? You obviously think it's a good deal? So instead of asking people to embrace BB, why not tell us why? .... Wait a minute, you did!

The thing is, our big brother has things to hide for our security. He doesn't hide them because he is worried about us knowing, he hides them because if we knew, it would be bad for our security.

The OP is a piece of satire on the issues that most members of ATS are concerned about.

I'm not going to say that the OP is in a league with Jonathon Swift, but I thought the piece was amusing and it could generate some interesting discussion if some members weren't so deathly serious and hellbent on maligning the OP.

There are some actionable posts on this thread, but I'm going to assume that maybe some got a little too agitated and failed to see the forest for the trees.
