Update: The original article says that there is a "guarantee" that they will not be frisked anywhere but the face and neck but it seems to be a sensationalized version of a recommendation from CAIR. I can't verify the guarantee.

Ok so apparently it isn't enough that they get to scan us with the backscatter x-ray machines, taking nudie pictures of us and possibly causing health problems. Or that if you decide to "opt-out" of the scan, they embarass you by yelling that you "opted-out" to anyone and everyone within ear shot. And if you "opt-out" they will give you the frisking of a lifetime! Making it all the more awkward for travellers. This includes using the back of their hand to rub across your privates. Wow! How about anal cavity searches for all the flying prisoners!? Seems a little excessive in a free country to me. Especially considering they have NEVER stopped a terrorist attack and that many reports including their own say that if terrorists, which most likely are CIA assets anyway, were dumb enough to try the airplane attack again, will be most likely to gain access through baggage handling and or employee access.

Well no matter if you happen to be a Muslim! Yeah that's right. If you are a Muslim woman, you can opt out of the nudie scanner and the TSA Gestapo are only allowed to pat you lightly about your neck and face only!

Now I don't think any free person should have to endure this garbage but weren't all these scary terrorists Muslim freedom haters!? Now they are the one group to get through without being photograhped naked or having their junk rubbed!?

If this doesn't give you an idea who they are really after then you need your head examined!

This is comletely dispicable. I'm sick to my stomach. I'll tell you one thing, I will NOT fly again until this garbage is laid to rest.

Folks they are taking our rights away one at a time. We are treated like prisoners and herded like cattle. It's time to take a stand.

Thirty-one-year-old John Tyner, a 31-year-old recently unleashed the "Don't tase me, Bro" moment of airport security. While about to receive a genital check from TSA security, Tyner agreed to a search of non-intimate areas but said, "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested." However, Muslim women will not have to face such worries. CNSNews.com has reported that Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) -- which is frequently tied to domestic terror plots -- has been guaranteed that TSA officials will only pat down Muslim women in the head and neck area.

Thats complete bs. The ones we are looking for are the MUSLIMS!! It's profiling yeah, so what. I have never heard of an 85 year old Jewish woman bombing anything. So why aren't we checking the people that have a record for doing the bombings. The lawfull muslims will cry out "It's not fair!", well tough doodoo, get the extremist Muslims under control then and we wouldn't have to worry about them. This is not difficult folks. What about MY rigths to be safe?? What about the other Millions of innocent Americans who's right it is to be secure in the fact that our government is doing all it can to keep us protected from terrorists! Scanning grampa Jones or a young american kid is pointless. There has never been any trouble from those people. Does this not make any sence? Am I missing something? If so please clear it up for me so I will understand.

Excuse me Memory Shock but the picture that I posted was neither gore nor porn. It is the picture that is produced from a backscatter xray machine. The fact that you censored out the picture does kind of help prove my point about how sick these machines are though.

Figures. Screw everyone but Muslims.

How is this not favoritism? How is this not a double standard?
It's ok, however, if you're not Muslim, for the TSA to feel up your wife,
your daughter, you! But God forbid a Muslim be subject to the same violation.

I'm starting to wonder if those rumors are true....

Link to source? This is absolutely ludicrous and would signal a lack of equal treatment under the law. Everyone is equal, and religion should have no place in determining anything in a United States government agency.

SOOOOOO....The very creed/religion that the govt blamed all the new protocols and reason for abolishing our rights on, are now exempt from the security put in place to prevent future attacks?
How does this make sense, in any way?
I cant believe I voted for his jackhole. Im so embarrassed. Not that the alternative would have been any better. Can we Americans not get a fair shake when voting for leaders? Is there really no one that listens to the people, that votes for the people and has the peoples interest at heart?
I cant wait to see how theyre going to take away my 'right' to vote.

I find it interesting there was no link in the OP, so I decided to look for it myself. This has nothing to do with Obama, but I admit it's a decent attempt at a partisan attack. This comes from CAIR. On its website is advice for passengers going through the screening procedures.

If you are selected for secondary screening after you go through the metal detector and it does not go off, and "sss" is not written on your boarding pass, ask the TSA officer if the reason you are being selected is because of your head scarf.
In this situation, you may be asked to submit to a pat-down or to go through a full body scanner. If you are selected for the scanner, you may ask to go through a pat-down instead.
Before you are patted down, you should remind the TSA officer that they are only supposed to pat down the area in question, in this scenario, your head and neck. They SHOULD NOT subject you to a full-body or partial-body pat-down.
You may ask to be taken to a private room for the pat-down procedure.
Instead of the pat-down, you can always request to pat down your own scarf, including head and neck area, and have the officers perform a chemical swipe of your hands.
If you encounter any issues, ask to speak to a supervisor immediately. They are there to assist you.

Did I say Men or Kid? But since you brought up Men maybe you would care to figure the ratio of American Men here in the U.S. who have been of sound mind that have bombed a group of innocent people to Total American Men vs the ratio of Muslim Men in America who have been of sound mind and have done the same to the Total Muslim Men in America? You can count American Muslims in with the first group.

Thanks a bunch. I assumed it was deleted with the photo. However, I don't see anything about Obama actually supporting this, only that CAIR has stated this is how Muslim women should treat it. I haven't seen a quote from Obama anywhere in the several links I've come across--only that this was the recommendation by CAIR. Maybe I missed it, but I read the article on a few different sites.

Well that wasn't so much the part that grabbed me. As for that being in the thread title, well that is the title they chose for their article. I was just following the TOS and giving my thread the same title as the article.

Personally I don't care who ok'd it. Just that it is happening!

Well next they will hand out waivers on the security measures the same way they are with the health care law. You're a Muslim, waiver. You're in a union, waiver. You're the member of a racial pressure group, waiver. You're a member of the Tea Party, show up 4 hours in advance because you're getting a cavity search.

The next thing will be for a European or Asian country to boycott travel to the US. This business will be folded like a house of cards.

The real problem I have with all of these increased security protocols, including CCTs, phone record and internet activity reviews, warrantless searches/wire taps is that there has been no identified reason for their implementation other than that they make us "safer". If that is the case, there would be instances where they were able to thwart attempts of terrorism that they would have in the media on a daily basis.

I don't like bugs in my house. I'm not going to encase it in concrete to keep them out. There needs to be a bit of pragmatic thinking about security. What is the value to society of preventing another terrorist act? Is it the $billions in cost, lost productivity, lost tourism due to folks not wanting to go through the nonsense? I don't know, but it seems that there is not an adult conversation taking place in this country about the cost benefits. How about we have a reasonable conversation in this country about the threat, which can not be eliminated and steps to reasonably deter it? All that this over-reach does is create a false sense of security.

Exactly.

I'm guessing much of what we're seeing is politically motivated in more ways than we think.

I'm not liking what is happening in the country.

I understand the labeling, but it looks like no one in a position of authority gave the go ahead. This is only a recommendation by CAIR for how Islamic women should treat the searches. I haven't found anything that it has been implemented by the TSA, nor have I found anything about this tactic working. It appears as if the Islamic women simply refuse to a scan or pat down on their body, and are treated the same as the other people who have been escorted out of the airport following their failure to comply. If there is something that states the TSA is actually conducting searches like this, or that the tactic is working, then it would be significant. Until then, it just looks like this is a recommendation.

Is the freereplublic.com a legitimate source?

I have a hard time believing this to be true, but if it is I am surprised msm hasn't jump all over this.

Is there an official source that states Muslim women are able to opt-out of the full body scans/pat downs. It appears this article represents a recommendation from CAIR, nothing more.

Oh and where is there a hint that Obama (who was never even mentioned in the article except the title) has approved of the suggestion. I don't see it... ???
