Government proposes internet ‘mediation service'




Ed Vaizey told the House of Commons that a mediation service would help make it easier for people to request that inaccurate personal information is removed from the internet.


This is unacceptable in my opinion. What's to stop them just deleting anything that criticises the government?

The idea in principle, especially the Google Street View aspect seems good, but I imagine it being abused.

Thoughts?
