here is a song that...for whatever reason, never fails to give me goosebumps...

Yokko Kanno Featuring Mai Yamane - Torch Song



Truely one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Try not to "judge a book by its cover" in the sense that yes it is a song written for a Japanese animation, But regardless of what you may think of 'anime' Yokko Kanno is a genius composer and quite well known & respected around the globe.

The best version is on "Macross Plus OST - For Fans Only"
On that CD it is mixed with another song, Part 1 is the song - Santi U and part 2 is the version above, goes for 10 minutes all up, excellent trip.
