Has it occured to anyone else that the Dec. 2012 end of the Mayan calender is suspiciously close to when Obama will probably be required to end his presidency? Is Obama the kind of maniac that would establish martial law to retain power? Some still claim he is the Anti-Christ (yes we can=thank you satan).Concentration camps, fema trains, and gullitiones? All are apparently ready to go in case of a declaration of martial law and it seems to fit into bible prophecy as well...

the concentration camps were originally not a secret and it was said their purpose was in case of a large influx of illegal aliens, then the tactics changed and their existence was denied, no one has ever denied our possesion of gulliotines and storage of them in american military bases. within the last few years the U.S. gov. has dumped millions into revamping amtrack stations that are not in use and installed barbed wire ,security survaillence equipment, and designated areas in them as red ,blue ,and yellow zones(just like at the Nazi concentration camps.) There is an enormous amount of power and resources for control and all it takes to make use of them is institution of martial law.

Here is a perspective from outside the new world.Bush put a big dent in the credibility of your country,Obama ,we here very little about except here on ATS and it seems he doesnt do very much at all.Whats with the amount of Obama threads on ATS .Now he is the Mayan supergod,SOHAO

my thread is meant to be more of a general questioning to others on their thoughts about Obama/2012 not an outright condemnation. one thing for sure, Obama is the worst president we've had since Geo.W.Bush.

I think it is coincidence.

I also believe that Obama will lose and that there will be race riots sufficient to force marshall law in a number of cities. What the ramifications of that are I don't know. I do know that I plan to vote absentee and will be nowhere close to a city on 11/4/12.

I lived in NYC when Dinkins was up by 6 or so a week before the election and then lost by 5 and it was mayhem. The city forced our building of about 5,000 to close early (along with most of the city) and escorted people to the trains by police on horseback. For the next month there were cops on every train and on every corner. If it were not for Dinkins calming the city down and being a patriot, parts of it would have burned.

That is going to seem like a day at the candy store in two years.

Wow! I hadn't even considered that Obama could use race riots sparked by his defeat to impose martial law and stay in power. If this is the case there is no way to remove him at all. There are no term limits under martial law.

no i don't think it's silly at all. every time it doesn't happen you are lulled into a deeper sleep and your feeling of security makes it all the more easy to continue to pass executive orders to ensure national slavery while you don't say one word to stop it.

There is already tension between races even now. You ever notice the hate? Whites hating illegals(Mexican) or White cops shooting black men, etc. Strangely, I can see this happening.....

I think people get the wacko idea that poor race relationships are a US only problem. Not so.

So 2012 is an election year. Big deal. Let's see what happens in the 2010 elections. Then there are 2 more years before the national elections. Lots of time for change.

But back to the OP. I think all 2012 is a hoax with no proof. I do not see that the current president should be tied into his end date for the current term. Is he a disaster or not is an issue for all of the years that he is in charge. If you are unemployed and still unemployed and see no chance of employment, then you might be considering Obama as the disaster of years 2009, 2010, and you fear being out of work for 2011, and maybe 2012.

I don't see the president as being connected to anything other than his current 4 year term.

jesus had one commandment: "do unto others that which you would have done unto you", aka treat others the way you like to be treated.

so anyone claiming to be a christian who does not talk to and treat everyone the same way is in effect the anti-christ. they are participating in anti-christian ideologies if they are not treating everyone the exact same identical way.
