Iran won't stop uranium enrichment – parliamentarian

MOSCOW, August 15 (Itar-Tass) -- Iran will carry on uranium enrichment, head of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Borouujerdi said on Sunday.

He thus responded to the latest statement by White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.

“Russia is providing the fuel, and taking the fuel back out," Gibbs said on Friday. "It, quite clearly, I think, underscores that Iran does not need its own enrichment capability if its intentions, as it states, are for a peaceful nuclear program."

Boroujerdi said that Moscow would supply enriched uran

Iran seems very determined to keep enriching uranium. Although I don't think they are just using it for medical research and energy, I do think that it is their right to be able to have nuclear power.

Eventually there will be a strike on Iran by the U.S. and Israel. The U.S. and Israel have been waiting for years to strike Iran and these developments will give them a "reason" in their eyes.

The delivery of fuel starts on the 21st of August 2010. Will there be attacks before then? I gues we have a week to find out.

If they are being honest, then good on them. The US has no right whatsoever to deny Iran the right to peaceful nuclear power (not that I agree with nuclear power but thats a different issue). They are playing the game by the rules and theres little the US can do about it.

“The IAEA inspectors will remove seals from containers with nuclear fuel, examine it,” he said. “The fuel will be then transferred into a special storage facility. And when the Iranian nuclear watchdog agency gives its permission, the fuel will be loaded into the reactor.”

I think America should stay well away from Israel on this one,It wouldnt take much for America to be hit over this one,u.s in bankrupt.

this is the perfect time to transfer fuel to iran. its ramadan for the muslims, if israel attack now then there will be chaos all over the world... that will never happen unless tptb want that reaction!!
