Obama calls press conference? Shortly...

At 8.40 a.m. EDT today Obama will be calling a press conference? No one seems to know why or on what topic as its seems a little rushed

So just a heads up for this as it will be on shortly,

He will then head out to the G-20 summit.

Interesting to here what he will talk about as nobody seemed to know about this....

Some are saying it may be to do with the Wall Street Reform bill,

Had me a little concerned there for a moment lol.

I WAS thinking, when noticing the title of the thread. "Obama will be calling a press conference, because he wants to tell all of the U.S that he doesn't know 'how to' be a President, and that he doesn't have any Presidential skills."

Heheh, funny, reminds me of that dream I had the other morning when I was watching the news and saw Obama giving a press conference saying he was stepping down as president cos he couldn't do it. In the dream I said to hubby "see, something big did happen on June 23rd like ATS predicted"

I totally agree with you... even if he is not an actor like Reagan or a stupid son (Bush jr) he acts like a very stupid guy ! People were hoping for big changes, instead they got bananas in their butt !

I guess there is too much corruption in our governments todays... When you are in a key function you shouldn't be paid by corporations or anything else and your salary should be voted by the "small people" ! !

Concerning the press conference : oil spill ? failed states ? UFO ? Gulf evacuation ? middle east war ?

Maybe Obama would finaly would finish the rest of his own quote, "Yes We Can ...and?"

Hum, as things are getting worse in the gulf, he is heading north? What could this mean? Say, maybe he's going to tell us all that the gulf is going to explode and that it's every man, women, and child for themselves before sneaking off to Canada to become an illegal alien himself before Canada can dispatch armed border guards to stop the scourge of hypocrites that will be invading from the south.

Shook me too, my thoughts went to evacuation of the Gulf Coast, and his informing us that the fat lady has sung.... it's over.

But good. It's only money.

Maybe Obama's Press Conference, he would tell the citizens, "why so serious?"

Hon, even it is about the consumer gouging financial reform bill we should all be concern after all as usual all those 50 billion dollars that the Wal street has spend in lobbying for financial reform is going to make us the tax payer the losers not the winners.

We all know who write the laws in this nation.

If you actually were paying attention, he is going to be talking about how Democrats passed the Financial Reform Bill last night.

You know just another major piece of legislation to give protections for citizens from greedy Wall Street.

But I'm sure the Conservatives here will get their talking points in about 3 hours from Right Wing Media then act like experts on the subject screaming how the President is pulling us towards Socialism or some crap.

Another milestone piece of legislation with ZERO Conservatives votes.

He knows he needs the largest hydrogen ever to fix the gulf of mexico, and he is asking for anyone to send in any nuclear material to help build the nuke.

Obama should of done this months ago.

If is the passing of the financial reform I suggest people take a hard look at how they used plastic in the nation and start reversing to Ole good mighty dollar as cash for transaction as using plastic in any way or form, from debit, credits cards and sharecheck cards fees are about to be increased at the good will of businesses that accept them, from 2% to 6% per purchase.

I am going back to cash and check where checks are still be accepted.

My first thoughts were about an evacuation as well. Glad to hear it's only monetary in nature.

And geez, I have been spending some time on here as well of late, had a dream about ATS as well. It involved the oil spill and it causing a new bacterial pathogen that came up from the depths. My imagination gets carried away at times, lol.
