The Writer title is for people who contribute to the Collaborative Writing Forum and the Short Stories Forum.

Similar, the Fighter title is for people who participate in the ATS Member Debate Forum and the Scholar title is for people who participate in the Research Forum.

They don't require any points, just a u2u to the forum moderator for the forum you want to participate in. If I remember right, before I actually got my Fighter title I had to find an opponent and agree to a debate topic. I'm not sure how it works for the other forums but you might have to actually have a contribution you want to post in the writing forum before they'll give you a Writer title.

I think that worldwatcher and masqua give the Writer titles, but could be wrong about that too.

Good show! Why isn't this a sticky?! They could at least have a thread of sticky worthy threads that only they can post links to threads into. I've asked before where is a media portal guide and was ignored.

I've also proposed a new forum specifically about ATS media and collaboration, a perfect place to sticky a thread like this.

Okay, I have a question I cannot find an answer to. How do I embed an image or link in another member's comment section? I have tried all of the embed suggestions here, but nothing works. I am apparently too stupid to figure it out on my own. HELP!!!!! Please??

Hello, all the collectors sites and military sites I'm a member of, I can upload pictures directly from 'my pictures' no hassle, I tried to upload a picture to this site from 'my pictures, I really did try, but gave up.
My operating system is Windows XP professional.
I just don't get why it has to be so complicated on ATS.com

From the blue tool bar at the top of the page ... TOOLS / ATS uploads / SELECT IMAGE FILE


...be aware

Adobe Flash must be installed on your computer for the upload utility to function.

I have flash player installed and recent update on my laptop but since the new upload format on ATS it just briefly shows the picture name in red in a grey box but doesn't add the pictures to the lists on the right, just goes back to the same page with the upload button, also the pictures that were on the old format aren't there either
