That is pretty neat to see that over the past 7-8 hours only 4 earthquakes (Alaska 2.8, Chile 4.5, Puerto Rico 2.6 & 3.1) have not been in the CA/MEX area. 2010/04/04 22:34:51 UTC to present time.

You'll probably find that because it's Easter weekend there's only a skeleton crew manning the operation at USGS - they've probably been focused on the Cali area and you'll find other country's quakes will be added in when things have calmed down a bit.

I was in my car on a red light when this quake hit us here in Coronado, CA, it was kinda funny actually...i started noticing my car bouncing and was like WTF? my father looks back to see if my mother was doing something and she was just still, then i look at a light pole and it was kinda moving, that's when i said ok this is an earthquake and some guys on another car rolled down their windows and started yelling EARTHQUAKE!!! 2012 YEAH BRING IT!!!! LOL and it stoped and as soon as i turned the radio on they were talking about it. That was some pretty good shaking if you ask me.

I had a dream last night about an Earthquake in California, probably because I watched 2012 yesterday for the first time. However, bizarre coincidence.

From my understanding, this is the second large quake within this area in the last three years (?)

We've had a rather interesting large amount of powerful earthquakes this year.

That dust cloud is really interesting. I wonder what it would be like for somebody up there in the mountains where the dust is emanating from.

Not that it means anything, but I've been hearing a constant high pitch noise all evening here way up in Washington State. The same sort of sound you would hear a few seconds to a minute after a near gun shot or firecracker. You know the ringing in your ears. Again it might not be related, but I have sensitive hearing and I don't have tinnitus or anything, so it's not normal for me.

Just for your info, there was 3,2 earthquake in Yellowstone, near the lake. But how it happened on ground level. Depth was 0 km.

earthquake.usgs.gov...

New shake-map is showing a more active seismic signal with the ruptive fault clearly showing along with the aftershock swarm.
The same strike-slip fault which caused this Lateral Displacement in Mexicali is moving the Baja plate Northwards, with the Continental US moving SE relative.

So the quakes are causing the radiowave, that's the subject of that thread, rather than the radiowave being the cause of the quakes?

yes thats my believe... explains also the so called shuman resonance...

Wow!

Just felt another aftershock like 30 seconds before posting this....

It's just so creepy to suddenly feel the entire Earth underneath you wobble back and forth.

Make the hair on the back of my neck stand strait.
