Go even further back...Barry Goldwater Conservatism! While there are things about Reagan that I enjoy....I really despise how the Right has evoked his name as some all powerful entity and end all to Republican thought and policy...
As far as the OP,.....these threads are used for the stars and flags in my opinion...especially when the OP says they have no opinion in the matter.

I understand the frustration, however, I am only the delivery boy here. And, as the delivery boy, I also have the right to interpret the story the way that I choose. Try as many of you might to hold me responsible, I am not the author of the article.

Grandson....I don't think it's a big deal.
Sarah Palin pays more than her fair share of taxes to cover this.
It's the ones that don't contribute and keep having kids that I worry about.

And you all call Obama the elitist? WOW - that is a very selfish thing to say.
Hell, i will never see a dime of my Social Security that i'm paying into...and neither will you. So why do you choose to strike against something that benefits everyone, and graciously accept something that benefits only a few?

The story is false. The BBNA Consortium, Inc. is a non-profit corp. and did not use HHS money for Bristol's care or Tripp's.
People who parrot lies as truth make fools of themselves, discredit the nonest discourse, political and otherwise, on ATS, and have zero credibility.
Deny ignorance!
soooo... Who didn't do their Homework?
A Link to the Government Accountability Office website, and an article that provides, in part, a description of the duties of the IHS, one of which is that they are:
"responsible for arranging health care services for Native Americans (American Indians and Alaska Natives)."
Services that are offered "as funds permit."
I'm with you, dub... Let's deny ignorance...

I think I provided my beliefs and answers in my first page. I'm sorry this isn't sufficient for you, but, it pretty well tells the story.
And you can accuse me of trolling. That is your inherent right. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that its correct. When the media presents a story to you and gives their slant on it...is that qualified as trolling? Or, is it qualified as disseminating information to the public?
Well, I've merely done the same thing. I've given out information that was not previously available on this site. And if I hadn't posted it, would you be reading it right now? Would you be aware that the story even existed?
Just a thought.

Now, if she really has a choice she wouldnt be forced at the barrel of a gun to pay into the system as she is. As we all are.
Show me the papers to sign so I can exercise my choice and opt out and retain my earned wages. What's that you say? No such paperwork exists? Hmmm....
What did she do to you through her actions or policies?
As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border.
The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil
"They are kooks, so I agree with Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh was using satire ... I didn't hear Rush Limbaugh calling a group of people whom he did not agree with 'f-ing retards,' and we did know that Rahm Emanuel, as has been reported, did say that. There is a big difference there." –Sarah Palin, attempting to rationalize why it's okay for Limbaugh to use the word "retards" but not Emanuel, FOX News Sunday interview, Feb. 7, 2010

In short - she's dumb. She dumbs down her followers into believing anything she says, creating the closest thing to the walking dead that we've ever seen in this country.
And more over - i can't stand her because you value HER stupidity over what is better for OUR country.
It's sickening. I consider stupidity to be the worst enemy of mankind.
So that being said - any friend of my enemy, will never be a friend of mine.
