I have friends that are in Jamaica. They never felt any kind of quakes, or tremors of any kind, and Jamaica is virtually right beside Haiti!! Why is that? A quake with that magnitude, you would think people on the next island would have felt something! But none of the surrounding islands felt anything!

Anyone with answers out there???

Here you go. Easy as typing Jamaica earthquake!

That link points to an earthquake in 1993.

and to add, why wouldn't cuba, or northern parts of S.A. feel anything?

People over a widespread area reported feeling the earthquake.
956 reports from 114 cities.
earthquake.usgs.gov...

59 reports from Jamaica. More than 450 km away, not exactly next door. Your sense of scale may be off a bit.

They happened naturally of course. I never once implied that all Earthquakes are un-natural.
Please refer to my initial posts. Perhaps they will answer your question.

Ok. First off, am not labelling you and not calling you ignorant.
I was referring to your post, and that was not an argumenta ad hominem.
Please understand this difference, after all, I do not know you in person.
I also do not think you're enjoying thinking the way you do, don't jump to conclusions.
And, based on MY common sense, there is no reason to assume a conspiracy. If you want to believe in a conspiracy, be my guest, then we'll just have a different opinion on this matter.

There is no need to react aggressively on my post. Pray what you preach

Jamaica isn't so near, and that Haiti earthquake was't even strong, it only hit so near Port-Au-Prince. That 2004 tsunami earthquake in Indonesia was over 9 M, Haiti earthquake 7 M, so it is 100 times weaker.

If their buildings in Haiti would be properly builded, damages would have been much smaller.

And remember, that worldwide there is 8-18 over 7M earthquakes each year.

I still think that there isn't any conspiracy, only that Red Cross thing. HAARP didn't caused this, this is natural. But that Red Cross tries to use it to collect some money for themselves.

How do you get away with population controll? People will notice. Simple, create "natural" disasters. People will ask about the increase of natural disasters. Create the global warming scam to use as a scapegoat.
Simple as that.
Believe it or not, thats your call.
For the record i don't. (hello paid monitors, read that last sentence carefully)

Whats the saying?

Oh yes, you can lead a horse to water but can't make then drink.

There are pages and pages of earthquake information from the area. Your friends didn't feel anything put others sure did.

Yep, felt in Jamaica too

Why don't you simply answer his questions? Provide the data that you base your theory on. Is it really that difficult?

CHECK THIS OUT NOW!!!!!

www.foxnews.com...

"The United States apparently possesses an "earthquake weapon" that set off the catastrophic quake in Haiti and killed 200,000 innocents. Don't believe it's true? Just ask Hugo Chavez.

Citing an alleged report from Russia's Northern Fleet, the Venezuelan strongman's state mouthpiece ViVe TV shot out a press release saying the 7.0 magnitude Haiti quake was caused by a U.S. test of an experimental shockwave system that can also create "weather anomalies to cause floods, droughts and hurricanes."

The station's Web site added that the U.S. government's HAARP program, an atmospheric research facility in Alaska (and frequent subject of conspiracy theories), was also to blame for a Jan. 9 quake in Eureka, Calif., and may have been behind the 7.8-magnitude quake in China that killed nearly 90,000 people in 2008.

What's more, the site says, the cataclysmic ruin in Haiti was only a test run for much bigger game: the coming showdown with Iran.

The ultimate goal of the test attack in Haiti, the report reads, is the United States' "planned destruction of Iran through a series of earthquakes designed to topple the current Islamic regime."

The story has since been taken down from the Venezuelan Web site, but a Google cache of the charges remains intact.

Click here to see the report (Spanish) | Click here to see the report (English)

The publication of the story came just days after Chavez himself accused the U.S. of using the earthquake as an excuse to "invade and militarily occupy Haiti," a nation so poor that its entire economy is based on foreign aid — particularly from the U.S.

"The empire (the U.S.) is taking Haiti over the bodies and tears of its people," he said at a press conference.

"I read that 3,000 soldiers are arriving, Marines armed as if they were going to war. They are occupying Haiti undercover."

By week's end, some 16,000 U.S. troops are expected to be providing humanitarian assistance in Haiti, where they have taken control of the only working airport and are coordinating relief efforts on the ground."

If HAARP is able to trigger earthquakes and HAARP has been around for over 15 yrs, then why would one suspect HAARP of being more capable than an adversary using similar technology to cause the Haitian quake.

Look at earthquake.usgs.gov...

Last weekend, 6 equidistant quakes ranged from the west coast to Oklahoma City along an arc continuing from the one shown above. They all appear to be along a Great Arc. I wonder where it's apogee lies.

Can HAARP be used for everything they say it can be used for? Scientifically (my father is a physicist and I a historian): Yes.

Is it used for everything you say it's used for? Dunno.

Though, after the whole Operation Northwoods debacle during the 60's, I'm inclined to believe the Pentagon is capable of anything.

I don't often do this but:

Hugo is citing a "report" from Sorcha Faal!

A grim report prepared by the Russian Northern Fleet for Prime Minister Putin is stating today that the catastrophic earthquake that has devastated the Island of Haiti was the ‘clear result’ of a United States Navy test of one of its ‘earthquake weapons’ planned to be used by the Americans upon the Persian Nation of Iran but had gone ‘horribly wrong’.

If we used HAARP to do this ( By the way we where very quick to send troops ) then we have to ask ourselves why? Here might be a clue:

It has been a little over a week since the devastating earthquake hit just outside Port au Prince, Haiti. Since that day, I have watched in horror as the Haitian people and their society have quickly submerged into a quagmire of social unrest and political grandstanding. Once I observed the mass-murder posse of Team Obama, Bush and Clinton begin circling the wagons and the rapid US militarization of Port au Prince, including the occupation of the Presidential Palace, to the tune of now almost 10,000 US boots on the ground, I began to get suspicious. Call me crazy. I know of the sad history of Haiti imposed upon the tiny former slave nation by one imperial power after the next. But when I see 10,000 American soldiers descend upon a nation in less than a week, my radar flies into the red zone. Just when I was beginning to brush up on the story behind the story regarding Yemen, now I’m thrashed about one more time and forced to begin scrambling for the next story behind the story for this week’s latest NWO hot topic.

After a few hours on the Internet, I discovered an article posted in January of 2008 www.abibitumikasa.com... indicating that large amounts of, you guessed it, OIL had indeed been discovered in Haiti a short while back. According to the article, s cientists Ginette and Daniel Mathurin indicated that “under Haitian soil it is rich in oil and fuel.” “We have identified 20 oil sites.” said ‘Daniel Mathurin stating that “5 of them are considered of great importance by specialists and politicians.”

“The Central Plateau, including the region of Thomonde, the plain of the Cul-de-Sac and the bay of Port-au-Prince are full of hydrocarbons,”he said adding that “the oil reserves of Haiti are more important than those of Venezuela.” “An Olympic pool compared to a glass of water; that is the comparison to illustrate the importance of Haitian oil compared with those of Venezuela,” he explains.

Are We in Haiti because of Oil? 070110banner

“Venezuela is one of the world’s largest producers of oil.”

We know that large amounts of oil had been discovered in Cuba a little over a year ago as appeared in a London Guardian article from Saturday, October 18 th 2008. www.guardian.co.uk... .

“ Mother nature, it emerged this week, appears to have blessed the island with enough oil reserves to vault it into the ranks of energy powers. The government announced there may be more than 20bn barrels of recoverable oil in offshore fields in Cuba’s share of the Gulf of Mexico, more than twice the previous estimate.

If confirmed, it puts Cuba’s reserves on par with those of the US and into the world’s top 20. Drilling is expected to start next year by Cuba’s state oil company Cubapetroleo, or Cupet.

“It would change their whole equation. The government would have more money and no longer be dependent on foreign oil,” said Kirby Jones, founder of the Washington-based US-Cuba Trade Association. “It could join the club of oil exporting nations.” Wrote Rory Carroll, Latin America Correspondent for the Guardian.

If one looks at a map and notices that Haiti and Cuba are only about 60 miles apart separated by the Winward Passage, one might then assume that perhaps the two Caribbean nations might be sitting on the same stretch of oil field.

And the plot thickens. According to the article regarding Haitian oil: “ Daniel and Ginette Malthurin indicate that the American government had in 2005 authorized the use of strategic reserves of the United States. The door should be used by politicians to launch Haitian negotiations with American companies in the context of the exploitation of these deposits.”

“The specialists contend that the government of Jean Claude Duvalier had verified the existence of a major oil field in the Bay of Port-au-Prince shortly before his downfall.”

Hmmm, intriguing. It would seem that the Pentagon’s interest in Haiti during this crisis just might stretch a bit beyond their normal warm and fuzzy humanitarian intentions. It feels like we’ve been here before. Keep your eyes on the bouncing ball and watch for Big Oil to move into the region shortly. Perhaps this may also serve as a wee bit of gunboat diplomacy targeted at Cuba and, more ominously, a back-up plan to secure reserves in the Empire’s backyard as Obama and the War Machine get ready to take on Venezuela. More will be revealed.

You and I know this technology can be incredibly destructive.
A very interesting aspect of the fault is that it has shown no sign of activity in the recent past. BUT-- and this is the big one. It was observed by NASA visually by a shuttle overpass. And there are accounts in the past of an adjacent island loosing an entire city on the western edge of that island as well.
In other words the US knew exactly where the fault was. My self and another member have hypothesized that a high powered HF carrier refracted or bounced off of a prepared atmosphere layer and modulated with a LF signal could create the Haitian earthquake.
Can you dispute this?

I dispute that I know the technology can be "incredibly destructive". There is not enough power involved to do so. The use of such power and its application would be detectable all over the planet.

The ELF and VLF radio waves produced by HAARP are produced by modulating the HF heater signal or by "wiggling" the beam but they are produced in the ionosphere directly over the facility. They then propagate in all directions. The amplitude of the ELF and VLF radiation which is produced is very low, requiring sensitive receivers to detect it.

I dispute that the radio waves can be refracted, reflected, or otherwise "aimed" in any usable manner.

I dispute that artificially produced VLF or ELF electromagnetic waves can create earthquakes. Do you have a hypothesis about how this can occur?

But what I fail to ever see is some sort of information on HOW this could happen - by what mechanism does this work (theoretically?) How does heating up the ionosphere cause the ground to move miles inside the crust?

By resonating frequency of the beam of energy, which HAARP does
