2006 was only 3 years ago, so when you think in terms of decades and centuries, 2006 is considered recent.

What language were the "transmissions" in?

Thats sounds really intresting, wonder what it all means.

No way the NSA will disclose this. Michio Kaku has commented on this publicly.

I searched google a little bit to see when Paul Allen invested into SETI. It seems like he did that around that time (2006). It might have been a ploy to gather more investment money.

I am going to call BS on this. However this is just my own opinion and I can be totally wrong.

This might be a little off topic, but I would like to see some salary numbers for the officers and directors of SETI.
