I agree Obama is determined to push us to a civil/revolutionary war. As to the reason he used the Lincoln Bible? He’s just that arrogant.

I don't hear from him anymore, but my best friend does every once in a while. He is still alive. Last I heard he was in Colorado and some of the survivors had started a new group. He was busted with at one point with illegal firearms or something. He was kicked out of the Koresh compound because I think he started questioning his teachings. You can google his name. Wally Kennett.

Sorry OP, not trying to hi-jack your thread.

It's actually illegal to do so under the Constitution but this law will change all that. Using DOD, DHS and NSA.

It wasn't you, it was me. My apologies as well. I find the whole thing, and cults in general, to be fascinating.

Thanks for the follow-up!

Yes, yes, make sure you have your bug out routes ready to go. They aren't going to try to physically secure the city they will block off all supply routes and starve the people.

Just be ready to go when it comes time, like I said I don't know when it will happen, but its going to happen. Just be ready.

Yea he definitely thinks he is smarter than what he really is. He's moron as far as I'm concerned.

As far as Lincoln's bible, I too believe he just that arrogant I just wanted to throw some tin foil hat stuff into the mix.

Locked, stocked, and very, very ready. While you can never be too prepared, I believe I'm ahead of the game. Appreciate the advice, though.

I can't wait until this plan is actually started. For the last few years I have been itching for the chance to round up some civilians. I promise to shoot a few just for the hell of it.

I pray some fool tries to stand up to my platoon.

It is better if you just follow what you are told. Its more entertaining for us if you decide to try and stand up to us.

Please give us a reason (not that we will need it) to open fire on you.

Okay, the National Guard is being deployed to the four corners of the world. In the event, God forbid, the Federal Government declares a state of emergency to quell a disturbance in a state that has secessionist aspirations, if the National Guard was present in mass; are they compelled to follow the orders from their governor to set up a defense against incursions by Federal troops?

I was under the assumption that the guard took the same oath as Federal soldiers? However, I find it hard to believe that even Federal troops would enter a state and do the dirty work if an insurgency got out of hand. I think participation would be too personal to them. However, I think the government would enlist the services of foreign troops (UN) and mercenaries (Black Water) to restore order in the event of a national emergency.

Thanks for that link. I went and read the information you posted. Starred and flagged. I actually hadn't seen it until now. Yes, the current administration is implementing Socialist programs which are only found in Socialist dictatorships. I fear for the future of the Republic of the United States, and for the suffering and oppression the current administration is bringing to most, if not all Americans.

Thanks,

We all wanted change but didnt expect so much so soon. We didnt ask for slave states. Things will be quite interesting by 2010. We are all interlinked to this global Calamity, in one way or another.

Off topic but I heard today the EU is beginning to make the flu vaccine for children, without testing. What's next?

Lots and lots of dead children or a repeat of Thalidomide.

I've always wondered if times seem so frightening and unsure because we're living in the middle of it, or if they truly are so end-of-the-world apocolyptic. I never lived through the Cuban missile crisis, the Second World War, the Great Depression or the 1918 Flu pandemic. I don't know where we stand in history, or what those who did live through those times felt. I hope it is more a matter of perspective than actuality... but things seem terrifyingly bad, and appear to only be getting worse.

I need everyone to stand back for a second. When Bush came into office and 9/11 occurred and he invaded Iraq, everyone here said the Bush/Cheney plan is to end elections, end the Constitution and become the first lifetime dictators of America. People posted legislation, Executive Orders and comments from Bush and Cheney to prove their point. What happened? Nothing happened. Elections happened as they always do and Obama was voted into office.

Now, today people say the same of Obama and they post EO's and legislation to prove their case. I believe, once again, that most of you will be proven wrong.

Lets face it, most people here distrust the government and call into question every action by the government and formulate conspiracies in order to validate their distrust of the government. This is not new and will happen with our 45th President.

I hope you are correct, but in some ways I know you are not. This would be a very valid point if we have maintained a certain status quo in our rights, freedoms, and liberties in the past 50 or so years, but we haven't. They've all slowly eroded away. At first, the erosion took place at the very fringes and edges of what we hold dear... too far away to notice or affect our daily lives. With time and a succession of "boogymen" designed to scare us enough to happily hand over our Constitutional rights, this erosion is now knocking on our doors. We see it happening now, sense it, and are aware of how it has, and can, affect our daily lives.

So sure, a lot of this is the "same old, same old" but that attitude simply lulls us all to sleep. It would be something to laugh off and ignore if everything was set back to 0 at the end of every administration, but it isn't. Each builds off of (or more appropriately, tears down) right where the last one left off.

Well if it's mantatory testing we all have a problem. It seems unreal, all of this. I'm not a gloom and doomer but I also cant ignor all the facts. This puzzle is being put together a record speed.

It does fit the apocolyptic revalations. Let's hope it's our imagination.

I asked my brother when all this war got started 'why are they sending in the national guard' his reply was 'cause they want to leave our states unguarded'.

Sending in the Merc's was to protect the oil fields and if the Merc's got into trouble, the blame would be placed on the National Guard, and that's how i see it.

Any State that impose a threat to the aganda, that states National Guard is sent to Iraq, weakening that state to protect itself.

Am i far off base here..........?

Nope, you are dead on the nail head and ironically, when Janet Napolitano was begging the Bush admin for more assistance to stem the tide of the illegal aliens coming across the border to her State of Arizona, Bush kept taking them to Iraq and she could never get anywhere with it. Now SHE is the one taking them away and behind a hatchet job of the sheriff office which was the ONLY thing that WAS getting the job done. It would be no problem at all for any terrorists to come here via Mexico posing as Mexicans trying to get accross the border. The drug trade has become intolerable with armies having to get involved now.

It wreaks havoc on the community and creates economic terrorism up the local economy. Why is Obimbo always talking about using common interests and diplomacy with our enemies yet when dealing with us, it seems it is always a military planned preparation.

I have wondered if we won't see some engineered crisis over-sea's to occupy our troops and then implement martial law with the help of the UN to quell dissent at home. A little distraction for our troops to keep the too busy to worry about back home. A skirmish with N. Korea maybe? Too many signs of power grabbing by the federal gov. Watch my left hand while my right is picking your pocket.

This is true... but remember that the troops at Kent State didn't seem to hesitate opening fire on a bunch of unarmed college kids.

Those were OHIO National Guard forces...who were under the direction of the State.

Perhaps this doesn't exactly help to make the case for letting the states be fully responsible in the case of a disaster?

Is it too far a stretch to think that Obama would use the bible of the President who freed the slaves as some kind of symbolic gesture as to how far blacks have come in contemporary America?

They are pushing this country to Civil War and Obama knows it. Why else would he swear in on Abraham Lincoln's bible?

He wants to take over the US and doesn't want states anymore, He just wants to make the USA just America. He is a dictator plain and simple. Fortunately I don't think very many people are going to play along with his plan.

playing along with it?

sure they are.. we, whoever. we have things all set up nicely and are in total denial, apathy or plain ignornant.

i just have to walk into my coworkers office and tell him that the patriot act is full of dangerous loop-hooles. and he'll look at me and tell me not to worry... it's only for the "bad" people. his response would be typical.. except for those who have no clue what the patriot act is.

if you research this particular military agency... they are the only one (outside of war on drugs to my opinion) that can deal domestically in other areas. if you look further... they can pull in whatever military forces they need to get the job done.

or at least that's my understanding.
