It is not the race card. IN new Jersey where I used to live, police and FBI used to profile Arabs and Muslims (from Pakistan, I am neither ). I am aware of some people whom the police watched and stalked as potential terrorists.

If you are referring to CIA water boarding and its enhance interrogation methods, it was deemed not torture but DOJ lawyers as well as members of both sides of the isle. There is no world law or treaty that supersedes the Constitution of the Untied States of America. America is an independent and sovereign nation. When will you see that we bow down to no nation, the soldiers who committed crimes were punished according to UCMJ? Oh ok, I get it now. You aren't outraged because the photos are classified, and have been prior to Obama's administration by the way, you're outraged because he won't release them so the US can be "shamed". Makes perfect sense to me now.

Do you honestly believe that anything good will come of it if those photos are released? The people responsible have been and are being punished for what they did at Abu Ghraib. Those responsible for the recent events will also be punished if it is decided that what they did is punishable. What else do you want?

Releasing photos won't take it back, it won't make it so it never happened. If anything it will only serve to humiliate the people who were tortured as evidenced by the pic posted in this thread by another poster. It serves no purpose but to humiliate the people who were treated that way. No good will come of releasing them.
