Did anyone complain to their representatives when they rushed a bill through to donate trillions of dollars to corporate fatcats and insolvent banks? Yeah, we did. For some strange reason, they didn't listen, or didn't care. You know what? Call your reps, sign your petitions, make your videos, get up on your soapboxes. You know what that will change? Nothing. Instead you will be the right-wing extremist on the list.

Someone might argue that it will take more than a platoon to come to their farm and take their weapons away.

Some might argue that guns are for cowards and we don't need them anyway.

Arguing is pointless. Action through 'appropriate' channels is futile.

so what we should sit around with our thumbs up our rearsides? Futile as it may be those of us with heart and love for america will not see it as futile and i hope that BS like that tripe you just spewed doesnt detur anyone from pressing the issue. PLEASE DO NOT STOP RESISTING THIS CRAP.

Its only lost if we give up its only futile if we do nothing

This may help you understand the new agenda. Rothschilds said in his papers that the last conflict needed to destroy America is the Arab/American conflict.

I have sent this to three Governors maybe they will share it with the others, yes this is an act of war, but let us join together using the Constitution first, but be alert to move quickly as they already are getting there ducks in a row or they would not be so blatant.

Something is wrong here and no one seems to care?

Subject: H.R. 1388 was passed

Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U. S. needs to know....

Something happened... H.R. 1388 was passed day-before-yesterday, behind our backs. You may want to read about it. It wasn't mentioned on the news... just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA. This is the news that didn't make the headlines...

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza.

The "presidential determination," which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States, was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4.

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let's review...itemized list of some of Barack Obama's most recent actions since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(S) not just here within the U. S., but within the world, using U. S. taxpayer funds.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the "terror attack" on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

Doubtful? To verify this for yourself:

PLEASE PASS THIS ON... AMERICA NEEDS TO KNOW

WE are losing this country at a rapid pace.

He is pushing his Socialist Agenda big time................................

Perhaps my lack of faith in the process concieved by our forefathers, which has become useless through incessant whittling has been misconstued as a call to sit with our thumbs up our arses. If you read carefully, instead of calling my opinion crap, maybe you would see that I stated action through the 'appropriate' channels was futile. NEVER did I state that you shouldn't resist. Of course you should resist it. But resistance isn't voicing your concerns over a friggin cup of coffee with someone who doesn't give a rats arse about wether or not you live or die. You know what buddy? Feel free to march to Washington, talk to your Senator, whom I am SURE has your best interest at heart and get the touchy feely resolution your after. I am done believeing the drivel that comes from ANY of their mouths. The didn't give a CRAP what the 'people' thought when they signed our lives away in debt to someone else. How can you be so naive as to think they will give a crap now? Feel free to advocate whatever 'action' YOU deem appropriate and feel free to call anyone else's interpretation crap. It's what makes this country great after all.

Oh my god, at this point I am furious and have written just about every representative of congress listed en masse.

Good afternoon,

It has come to my attention that there is a bill currently up for vote, and I for one am completely shocked at the broad sweeping power this will give to the federal government judicial branch. The bill itself is supposedly designed to keep firearms and explosives out of the hands of potential and suspected terrorists. This I have no problem with, however, the problem lies with the obscurity of who the terrorists actually are. There is already a terrorist watch list that includes members of such organizations as animal rights activists, anti-abortionists, and constitutionalists alike. Are these people really the ones that this bill is attempting to keep firearms away from? This is non-sense, and little by little with legistlation being presented and passed such as this, is taking away our liberties granted to us by the constitution of the United States of America.

It appears as though slowly but surely we are slipping into a fascist nation with the nationalisation of the banks, and consolidation of the major ball players in every industry. It is quite a shame the American people have not 'woken up' en masse to protest these changes. I am sure you have received many a call and / or e-mail about previous dubious legislation, and no doubt you will receive many more about this one as well. Here is a direct link to the piece of legislation I am referring to. H.R. 2159

Please, as a constituent, I implore you to consider voting no against this bill, and I urge your colleagues to follow suit. I know we can count on your cooperation in this matter.

Thank you for your time, and have a blessed day. Stay positive.

Namaste`,

It's ok man. I apologize for being a little short. I'm in the same boat. It seems like such a big problem and it's awful tough to wrap my head around it.

Peace is always better, but it just seems like someone is so intent on taking that away as a viable option. It stinks, but a lot of blood was shed to make us the country we are. Situations are indeed very rare where I would advocate any type of violent response.

The trend to me and my tiny little brain seems to be that nothing we do or say makes any difference any more. Maybe I need some meds or something. I know that trillions and trillions of our dollars have dissappeared and they are nowhere to be found. We told them not to do it and they did it anyway. If you voice your disagreement with anything they decide, you are labeled this wing, or that wing and even more gets taken away.

I wish that the process that was outlined for us a couple hundred years ago was still valid, that it still mattered, that it could still make a difference. I've served my country, I love my country, but I'm saddened by what it's become. Perhaps I am just as much to blame as the people I'm angry with.

It saddens me that I even THINK of leaving. This is MY ship. MY ride. I'm not jumping off. I can't jump off. I just need help trying to figure what to do when nothing I know seems to work anymore.

There is no such 'obsession' with guns in the U.S. as you so see it. The true obsession lies with the federal government listing as many people that they could see hindering their agenda as terrorists. This bill is designed to keep us from defending ourselves against them when they decide to openly walk all over us.

For now, they are passing bills into law that slowly take away our freedoms that are granted to us through the U.S. constitution.

sorry bout that, my last post was not intended as a reply to your post, but one from someone else before yourself. i read your posts and they are reasonable, some others on here seem like "war mongers". and im sorry if that offends anyone but thats the way it looks to me, and im in the uk so will have a different outlook to yourselves anyway. i think id best not comment on things like carrying firearms, as i only know one person who owns one, and he uses it to kill rabbits.
In the uk we are trying to get the message across to young people that if you are carrying a knife, you have more chance of being stabbed by it than if you didnt have one. i guess i think the same about guns. if nobody had a gun, the worst youd get is a black eye and a few bruises maybe.
sorry to rant but i dont understand, as i said in my previous post.

There are some americans believe it or not, that do not have guns. Not because we don't know how to use them, or wouldn't if needed. You present the written attitude of someone that is perhaps not FROM this country. It's understandable that you would have a difficult time understanding our RIGHT to keep and bear arms. We have this little document that a bunch of hippies got together and wrote in this fancy handwriting. It's an attempt to keep us from blindly swallowing the BS of a tyrannical government. They had just overthrown the oppressive rule of some pompous dictator accross an ocean somewhere. They had to spill a little blood to make it happen. Because they had to go through that, they understood that someday we might have to go through that again and that we should all be prepared and vigilant, in case such a circumstance should arrise. American's are not 'obsessed' with guns. Americans are obsessed with FREEDOM. We are addicted to it, and the supply is running out. It's getting sort of dry around these parts. So we are starting to jones.

instead of civil war and all the war talk

why not just be intelligent on the subject

simply list all of those in our government who support this bill, list everyone who has been there to allow this bill to gain life

then take that list

and vote them all out of office

impeach them, remove them one way or another

and then, vote someone in to office, not based on how much money they have, not based on how much tv time they get, not based on how much they spend on their campaign

but vote them in based on what they will do, and if they dont do what they say they will do, vote them out of office, impeach them, remove them one way or another

war wont work, never has, never will

what has worked is our voting system

its not 100 percent

but when used properly, by INTELLIGENT people it can be a very effective weapon

so start the lists,
start the petitions
start the online campaigns to get rid of these people

stop letting the churches and parties run this country, and allow the people to run this country

how many people are on this site every day??

start a petition on here, get these idiots out of office

seriously tho

i mean how many people have read this thread alone already

how many people would be on the petition if the petition was in the opening post?

i bet we'd already be on our way to making a change

and no im not talking about the WWE catchphrase the foolish man-wrestler-wannabe obama uses

im talking about real change the voters can implement

littlebunny, I have screamed this for years now and nobody listened! But I guess they'll start listening when they finally get our guns, for when this happens, you'll see the roundups starting and those detention camps that I and many others here at ATS have spoken of in the last few weeks!

This didn't begin just with this bill either! Go back and read your patriot acts 1&2, and you'll see the parts where if you protest the gov't for any reason, you're classified as a "domestic" terrorist! Also, under Obama's "give Act", they are trainging the boyscouts ages 14 to 17 to help out with domestic terrorism and carry guns!

Our gov't didn't pass the patriot acts to protect us from terrorists, they passed those bills to protect them from US, the american citizens!

The Federal Government.

There has been an ongoing issue, which many Americans see as an open and deliberate attack on our 2nd amendment right to own firearms.

This is the reason some states are declaring sovereignty, and the reason others are passing bills that will render any weapon manufactured, owned, and kept within their state borders exempt from federal law.

See: Montana Governer Signs New Gun Law for instance.
