Mini Profile Location trouble, please help

Why does my location keep showing as St. John\\\\\\\'s, its supposed to be St. John's, but it keeps getting formatted that way. WTF

It's because of the Apostrophe i think.
Have had a similar problem before... try it without and see if it is... it at least rules it out if nothing else.

There ya go.....that is the case... sorted.
And yeah...I'm pretty pedantic and fussy too.. Ah well, a small compromise I'm sure

It also won't let me choose the correct time zone, errrr.... I know its no big deal but still, I would like my profile information to be correct.

What happens when you select the time zone?

I've had it before and when you look back at the profile it's +3 hours.... but if you just reset it, come out of the member tools/profile bit and try and post...it should be fine.

Nothing happens, I choose the correct one (Newfoundland), hit submit and it keeps defaulting back to the Acension Islands?

Yeah....it will do on the options bit...so you're still seeing it in the settings bit.
As i say.....set it to whatever you want, hit submit.... come out of there all together and try posting.....your post time should match your "real world" time..

Sadly no, that did not work, my posts are showing an hour and a half in the future. I guess it bothers me more, because my little island has its own time zone and its something we are sensitive about, hahaha

K, I changed my location to what you said, is jibberish to me, does it say st. john's when you look at it?
