I don't know that raising the level means anything. It may simply option up further monetary options and resources to further prevent spread or do further research and the like.

There is absolutely no indication that we'll have next to any deaths from this other than what has happened in Mexico proper. And even if people do die from this, that's not abnormal from any flu. All flus end up taking some lives, due to age or complications. So far, aside from giving it a scary name and media-ing it to death, I don't see how this is different than any other flu during flu season.

Yep, just saw it on CNN. Dr Chan has raised the level to 5. Now we're going to see how interesting things can start to get.

At least there's still a level 6...

with the risk of offending anyone of asian ethnicity,the best part of my day is listning to the woman from the DuhBaHaCho telling us about the Birorogical risks...lolol

The 2 is for 2 minutes ago posted from Twitter. Sorry. It does not mean Plan 2.

Every Country and or State/Province/Whatever most likely has their own plan for dealing with this type of situation. I do not know what any of their plans are or include unfortunately.
