Millions see UFO crash in Saudi Arabia

Astonishing events are occuring around the world and not as much as a word about them is being written or said in the West. In Saudi Arabia last week a remarkable sighting of what might well have be a UFO, possibly crashing into earth, has been witnessed by no less than millions of individuals in the vicinity. Multiple photos and videos of the object have come to light.

Arabic language forums are abuzz with Saudi citizens claiming to have witnessed what is even being described by some in the normally conservative Saudi Arabian press as a possible UFO either crashing to earth or simply executing manoeuvres designed to scare humans. Others are claiming the object was an Asteroid or a Satellite. Witnesses are reported to be waiting for an explanation from local meteorological bureau’s but have received no answers yet.

ON Wednesday 7th of January after evening prayers a large noise was heard in sky followed by the sighting of an intense large light heading from the west above the Al-Qasim region east of Saudi Arabia’s capital city Riyadh. Many locals had seen meteors prior to this but claimed this one did not fit the typical description at all: it was a blue green colour and was shooting out green lasers.

One witness Khalid commented ‘No one has ever seen anything like it’

Amazingly for an incident that hasn’t even made the news in the West it was seen as far away as Kuwait. Many people were terrified and prayed. Some have posted messages on the web warning that this might be a sign from God for the Kingdoms silence on Gaza. Locals in the region where the object appeared to be heading claim they heard an explosion and felt a large tremor indicating that the object crashed. The Saudi government has not released information regarding the crash site but is reported to have sealed the area.

It's possible that it was just a meteor, but the government sealed off the area, so maybe there is more to it.

That is a blue/green Bolide.
A type of large falling star also referred to as a fireball. These are chunks of space debris which are large enough that parts of it will normally reach the surface of the Earth. They come in a lot of colors, based on their compositions, and I have personally witnessed Blue, Green, yellow, white, and red ones. Additionally we seem to have had a spate of these lately, so the Earth is obviously traveling through an area where there is a higher concentration of these larger objects.

Oh yes, just another meteor, shooting star.

Lets see, the following is just a toilet seat falling out of a 747 carrying 56 blue elephants at 200,000 feet.

Or this one, just another meteor, now what did the female anchor say it looked like? Rocket exploding?

Or maybe, just maybe, all these "Meteors" are in reality, ummm, craft re-entering the atmosphere? You know, space junk?

Oh well, time will tell, one way or another. It always has, and it always will.........

Your first movie is the Genesis Satellite that NASA launched in 2004, which crashed after its parachute failed to deploy.
What your**SNIP** comments about toilets and elephants has to do with this thread is beyond me though?

Your second one is another Bolide breaking up. They all fall in different, and depending on the angle, speed, and composition they can explode, break up, and be various colors. It could potentially be a piece of space trash, but as the military tacks most of the larger chunks, and as there was a meteor shower going on when that was filmed, it is most likely a Fireball/Bolide.

Your final film is satellites and the ISS being poorly filmed via hand held cameras, at extreme zoom levels. There used to be a nice set of comparison pictures over at Bad Astronomy, that were taken by actual astronomers using better equipment. You could clearly see that these are the same items that they would photograph.

As to the OP's film, it is a Bolide, a CLASSIC looking Bolide.... The only thing even remotely unique about it is that BLUE and GREEN are RARER colors then yellow's, whites, & reds.

Another video of a meteor, notice this also illuminates very brightly and in a similar fashion, it also moves at a similar speed and in a "straight" line.

Looks like a meteor moves like a meteor - is a meteor, thanks for find OP star/flag.

Actually I saw two bright bolides myself at about 22:00 gmt last night from roughly North to South in the UK, they were seperated by a couple of minutes.

There was another BLUE Bolide that hit in Sweden just the day before:

Which means that this is another chuck of the same larger object that is made of the same elements. Right now we are obviously going through the tail of a comet or other field of debris which is raining down Blue/Green Bolides on the Earth.

Looks similar to the Canada roids and its almost 2 months since those hit. How long can the earth travel within the same comet path?
Could it be that the material that makes this blue/green light is more common in space and these objects are not related?

That would depend on the angle of the two objects orbit in relation to how those orbits intersect, the speed of the Earth, and the size of the field. This determines how many days we would travel in the debris field.

A bolide is generally about the size of a small car, and they can cause a pretty good impact. There was one in Norway a year or so ago, that hit with about a Megaton of Force. They impact us all the time though, and since most of the Earth is water, the majority land there. More often they are the size of a brick or basketball when they land, and can take out a house or trailer, as has happened many times over the years. You only need to worry about them if we intercept one that is a half a mile or greater in diameter. Chances of a small one hitting you are like hitting the Lottery multiple times in a row...

I just meant that any news is good news when it comes to UFOs. If we want a large public debate on UFOs, events like this (even though it is most likely a meteor) are also important. It will keep people talking. But there is a huge gap between the Islamic media and the western media. If it would have happened in the US it would reach more "believers" (and also more Skeptics).

Yes they can, though scientists are not sure as to how. They can make hissing, popping, whistling noises, and they can break the sound barrier.

Numerous people have over the years reported sounds being heard while bright meteors flared overhead. This would seem impossible, given the relatively slow speed of sound. Any sound generated by a meteor in the upper atmosphere, such as a sonic boom, should not be heard until many seconds after the meteor disappeared. However, in certain instances, for example during the Leonid meteor shower of 2001, several people reported sounds described as "crackling", "swishing", or "hissing" occurring at the same instant as a meteor flare. Similar sounds have also been reported during intense displays of Earth's auroras.

These incidents are wonderfully interesting , but since the OPs video has been pretty comprehensively shown to be similar to the videos of confirmed extra atmospheric debris, its fairly safe to say that its not an alien craft or indeed a UFO . Its been identified now .
What IS still interesting about this (aside from how wonderful thier arrival appears on camera) is the frequency of these objects. I concur with a previous post, which suggests we are passing through the tail of a larger object. Another possibility is that a larger object has broken into much smaller peices... perhaps under the strain of a far larger gravity than our earths, mixed with speeds that boggle the mind.
One thing that makes me laugh is someones refference to these objects "EVEN breaking the sound barrier". These objects are known to travel at speeds in serious excess of the speed of sound. I mean I heard somewhere that this planet we are on travels at something like 62,000 kph or mph ... which ever (I cant remember to be honest). Not so suprising then that an object which falls to earth from space would also be traveling at ridiculous miles an hour??
