An internal memo from a top Citibank analyst reveals what the banks really think about the global financial situation, and the outlook is grim.

"The world is not going back to normal after the magnitude of what they have done. When the dust settles this will either work, and the money they have pushed into the system will feed through into an inflation shock," wrote Tom Fitzpatrick, Citibank’s chief technical strategist.

This article is interesting if verified. It shows that behind the scenes the outlook from a Citibank Analyst.

Either hyperinflation or global depression. That is the call neither prospect sounds very good. A side effect will be that gold is predicted to rise to over 2K an ounce.

I also feel we are at the very beginning of the crisis while it seems most American believe the crisis was avoided by swift action at the fed!

That's a very provacative, sexy title you got there but the truth is, according to the memo,

We don't think this is the more likely outcome,

THere are two possible outcomes. Inflation or a downward spiral.
