Indeed!, quite interesting that India has been playing sailors with the russians. Would or could a combined russian, chinese and indian fleet possibly bottle up this alleged allied armada in the persian gulf?. There'd be some fireworks!!
Also , a russian drive through Geogia and Armenia would easily effect a link up with Iran. Nieghbouring countries like the Ukriane and Turkmenistan etc. would quickly see which way the wind was blowing. Driving west, how long would it take the russian army to reach the polish frontier?, two weeks? (remember, when congratulated on taking Berlin by the western allies, Zukov replied, "Czar Nicky got to Paris!"), given that the chinese and indians are covering thier pacific flank. The west could find itself quite easily encircled in the middle east.

The chinese have a curse, "may you live in interesting times!".
