My source has it pegged at a 4.9

Also more recent 3.1 and 3.2 off the coast of Greece. Some tremors in California as well.

What is it about Americans and the whole "mine is bigger than yours?"...

In Calif, you have a major fault line, so quakes are to be expected. The UK only has minor faults and none in the area in question, so a 4.7 M quake is quite a big story.

Hi everyone...I felt it too...my god, my heart was in my mouth!!
It started as a slight rumble that gradually got louder, thought the
house was about to come down, I am living in Ilkeston near Derby.

Just sat there about as inocent as I can be with my Airedale, writing
an email then suddenly thought...damn noisy neighbour but shortly
afterwards common sense began to sink in... thought she'd learned
some new techniques.

I'm glad it was just an earthquake, thought I was about to encounter
some demon from the 5th dimension or George W Bush had targeted
my house or something.

stop the world I want to get off.

Small world!!

I'm in Belper (South Derbyshire) - I actually thought they'd gone and dropped the bomb.

How very strange that Bush flashed through my mind while it was kicking-off as well! haha.... The clown gets blame (quite rightly) for all the worlds disaters.

It did seem to be MUCH higher than the one we had back in 03 though?? don't you think?? I guess it depends on where it's epicentre is though.

Regards,

Karl.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that list just reports the time of the English quake in other time-zones.

I was chatting on the eBay forums while this was happening, and quite a few people are noticing, including myself, a strange noise that has hung-around since the quake, like a low-pitched humming sound.
Also people are commenting on how all the birds are singing outside like its dawn...

I wonder if it's anyting to do with HAARP??

Nah, that just shows the time of the quake in other time zones, not when the quake hit those places - all the times are the same, if they were "hit times" then they'd all be different

I felt the quake too, lasted about 5 seconds for the main "blast" of vibration which was at around 4-8Hz, then aftershocks continued for about 10-15 seconds after that, with occasional shocks for the next half hour or so.

Apparently we are to "expect more tremors overnight" but I'm not sure where that info came from - I'll try to find a source.

what a cool begining to the day, never thoguht i would ever experience an earthquake
.

a few minutes before, my girlfriend and dog were out the back, the dog started barking, it was his warning type bark, if he hears something he dont like. I asked my girlfriend what was up and she said she heard a loud band quite far away.... (we are in blackpool btw)

a few minutes later, i was sitting trying to calm the dog down ,tv off, i thought the wind was picking up outside and the next thing i knew the wall and skylite (well, whole house really) was shaking before me! i thought it was a really strong wind hitting the east side of the house, but it started shaking the other way as well, i ran to my girlfriend and she was panicing as the bed had been shaking and she was in it .

exellent experience
i never knew earthquakes have a loud bang , i have noticed alot of the reports on tv also mention a loud bang (co incidently the bang came from the east, which is the direction of the epicentre from us).

i was glad to hear the epicentre was the easy and not teh west, the current high rough seas wouldnt have helped much if it was out their....

Its funny, my Airedale seemed to know it was about to occur
just before it did, definately not put him off terrorising the neighbours
cat, not when theres work to be done. Though we were both stood
like a bunch of lemons looking at the ceiling.....both glad its still there,
I have to say and its never looked better.

I cant quite remember the one back in 03, I may have been slightly
inebriated at the time. I felt them quite often back then.
Though I do seem to remember one back in 89/90 time when I was
in school near manchester daydreaming when I should have been studying.
I remember it well because my English teacher at the time was sporting
a rather impressive bobby charlton combover, which had been disturbed.
Funny what we remember.

Just hoping im not going to be in some kind of 70s George Kennedy
disaster movie but I suspect this is just the start.

Just right click the left mouse button!!

I've been listening to an old 2006 Coast to Coast show, where Art Bell is grilling 2 guys involved with the HAARP project.

The show started of quite jovial, but as it wen't on, Art started getting deep with these guys whom were obviously CIA/Feds.

They claim HAARP is a 'defence system'. Art asked them if thats the case it could also be used as a weapon, they dodged the question.

Whatever the hidded politics of HAARP are, i'm sure its it has something to do with the correcting of Earth's Magnetic Poles, which are being effected by the approach of Planet-X, causing strange weather changes, which also ties-in Chem Trails to combat HAARPS effects.

What is "Planet X"??

Also, I think HAARP have something to do with it, it has to be, we dont just get earthquakes here, we're in the middle of a plate ffs!
