Hi... this is Mungo

Ive been out working all day..

Point one.....The ABC ( aus Version) finally had this story on the radio at 3.36 pm this afternoon. I RANG IN FOR MY POINT OF VIEW AND WAS TOLD NO COMMENTS REGARDING tu24 ..............."THEY HAD been COVERED" Maybe I'm just paranoid.

This was about 4 hrs from its apogee.

honestly.....I dont care.........

I havnt read the last whatever pages.......I dont want the points..... I dont believe it'll hit.......... And now I am going outside to watch.

And tomorrow I'm gonna look like a complete dickhead for asking the question.

Goodnight to you all................ see you in the morning.

Yeah, moving day. Geez, I wish I'd thought of that.
Would I move it to see if I could? Yup. I have unresolved issues with this whole deal. 44 mintes to CA.

Nope. I'm female too. So there are at least two of us here. Sleep comes soon. Hang in there.

Sorry it took me a bit to respond...I've been laughing so hard from our intoxicated friend above I had to take a break. Wow....that was funny.

Peace.

So what will we find out in 40 or so minutes? That's supposed to be the closest approach,, how long after that point would it take to verify whether that's true? who would beverifying it?

Mungo, This thread has taught me SO much, and has once again brought ATS together to problem solve. You have made people aware of the potential dangers of NEOs...so you should be proud even if nothing happens. Thank you! Doyder

Mungodave,

I just wanted to pass along another huge thank you to you for starting this thread. The amount of understanding and knowledge that has come from so many individual sources has been amazing...even more so because the "experts" one would normally turn to like NASA have been so silent. Thank you...truly.

Peace.
