What is Scientology doing in London?

This is the opening events from 2006, local how HUGE this event is.

Scientology London has already given donations to the Labour Party (governing party) and the Conservative Party (opposition). The organisation is lobbying Parliament to get religious status in the UK (which that, and charity status, has already been rejected)

Buying thier way in it seems. They have deep pockets so Its just a matter of spending enough money.

I believe so, but I am not sure.
It is in France and Germany though.

yes it is labelled as a cult in britain, but who knows with the right sized cheques they may even become our leading political party. that would be different...
