He looks like a man who is about to do something very unpleasant and against his will..At least we can thank him that we have been spared to date of any major attack 6 years....he can only shore up the Dam so much..I just can't conceive of why he did not do the same with our borders..Thats more a disturbing mystery to me than that plane is..its as if the clip attempts to create news rather than report it.

EDIT: Nevermind..found the video

The first two sentences felt weird to me..

"Good evening, in the life of all free nations, there come moments that decide the direction of a country, and reveal the character of its people. We are now at such a moment."

Why? Why are we now at such a moment? Why now?

At certain points he sounds like his voice is breaking up, almost like he's about to cry or something. His voice sounds real weak.

I don't know. He seems a little weird.

I thought it was funny when he picked up the paper and read the letter like we all don't know he's reading from a teleprompter where they could have put the letter in to.

Yes I heard that also! He really just didn't seem like his usually cocky "I'm the decider" self. He almost looks like he knows a nuke will be dropped in DC

Jesus God in heaven. They are really gonna do it. Oh my dang. I did not initially realise the significance of those first two sentences. Oh my dang.

Getting the pop down to 500 million should be no problem very soon.

Is there a video of his speech? I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT. Unfortunately I was at work all night and did have a chance to catch it.

Well, lets all hope nothing happens today. I hope we can pile it on the stack of hyped up days that turned out to be nothing. I'd much rather have those than have it happen and be right, or be completely unaware of the significance whether something happens or not. I personally think it's best to be educated about every single day no matter what.

But, that's just me.

I'm off now. Hopefully when I wake up all cities will be in tact.

Here

You'll see "Sept. 13, 2007
Address by the President to the Nation on the Way Forward in Iraq" and "Video" underneath that.

My first thought was "who is this guy?" He was lacking his normal spunk. Usually I laugh a few times when he speaks. I'm pretty sure all the words he used could be found in Websters dictionary... that's really weird.

Yes, lets pray all this is just hype. I would much rather be wrong than to see a nuclear bomb detonated over DC. Unfortunately I think is inevitable that Bush will make the grab for power before the end of his term.

Incredible how he can say stuff like this with a straight face:

"Earlier this year, I received an email from the family of Army Specialist Brandon Stout of Michigan. Brandon volunteered for the National Guard and was killed while serving in Baghdad. His family has suffered greatly. Yet in their sorrow, they see larger purpose. His wife, Audrey, says that Brandon felt called to serve and knew what he was fighting for. And his parents, Tracy and Jeff, wrote me this: "We believe this is a war of good and evil and we must win even if it cost the life of our own son. Freedom is not free."

Their reality is so twisted its not even funny. USA didnt go invade the country to help the people!. It was about oil and establishing a base for further operations into Iran.

She is right about it being a war between good and evil though, but not in the way this Audrey women thinks.

Normally your not supposed to post things that you know to be false. This better be hype. But I saw the speech for a few minutes and heard him say the introduction. There my 'spider senses started tingling' in other words a bad feeling. Then the nuke video.

Show me the proof that the USAF is standing down today. Because why would they leave our skies defenseless? For a review of AF policies? I find that very hard to believe. I will take this September 14 to be rumors since nothing has been on the news about it.

But surely this isn't made up hype because you all know the T&C rules and wouldn't risked getting banned. Right?

Well lets hope nothing happens today I live 5 miles from DC as the crow flys. I thought Bush looked like a tired, worn out man last night. He looked like he was ready to throw in the towel and give up. Im sure the MIC has been working him solid for what 6 and some years now? I would be willing to bet he hasnt slept a full night in 6 years. Anyway we shall see but i highly doubt anything will happen on US soil today. He may be priming everyone for an attack on Irans nuclear sites.

Nothing important is in the mainstream news unless they want it to be.

I found a article in American Chronicle about it. That guy must be reading this site... the entire article is exactly what we have discussed here this week.

I get really annoyed at all this "I care about the Iraqi" lies thats coming from the mans mouth.

Strange, the quoted text has mysteriously changed from when I hit reply...

I guess I can't say what I was going to say about fools and what they believe, then..

Apart from that however, there are many people who feel the same way as the family of this man mentioned by Bush. For them to think otherwise is for them to see their loss as an utterly pointless death. War itself, conflict and violence in such degree is inherently pointless - who will care in the next 2007 years.

But to believe that he died doing something right, is not something to deny them. People who join the armed services deserve that much.

Whether *WE* agree with them or not, is not the issue. I stand by each and every brave person who has been sent to fight over there, doing their duty. I do not have to agree with the reasons why they were sent to fight, but I will not condemn them for the job they do.

And I disagree 100% that it's about the damn oil..... so I'll leave it at that.

The man has the corporate eating monster on his back pushing for more blood to keep the corporate wheels spinning.

He will do as the corporate master tell him to do, either sell our nations sovereignty and force the North American Union or attack Iran.
