It was another one of those goofy glorified 'hovercraft' that never got more than few feet about the ground. Sure they were into saucers just to see what they were missing (after all the sightings) but the 'official' design evolution stops there at the experiemental stage (making the public think its all for bunk anyway) whilst the black projects continue under ground.

Nice rendering though IMHO

There's one of those "aerocars" on display at the US Army transportation headquarters at Ft. Eustis, Va. The Army/Air Force did extensive testing trying to get the dang thing to work back in the 50's but it never got more than a few feet off the ground. Now that was back in the 50's mind you--so imagine where they're at now. Remember, stealth technology came out of tests done in the 70's... it's been 30 years since we came up with stealth and we're supposed to think that our government hasn't been playing with new stuff that entire time?

Ermm...because secretly they were trying to reverse engineer discs they had captured already? Or perhaps copy what they were observing in the skys?
