I know the thread. Also the one from TRAINEDFORTHIS. Also many, many family and friends that have gone from strictly NOT believing in Aliens because of the Bible's centrist view of Earth and humanity to slowly succumbing over time (with the help of more and more Evangelical revision) to total acceptance of Aliens AS proof the Rapture is coming.

Not an accusation, just an observation. (It may be me.)

But I will say, that the government I have come to know and loathe will not be saying squat anytime soon to make Christianity look bad. Not gonna happen.

First off, that's the american government. Second, I believe in aliens and UFOs, but am an attempting to be devout christian. God has a plan, and he's made known what his plan for Earth is. I find it hard to believe in the vast space known as the universe no other intelligent life has developed. But I suspect God has a plan for that planet/race as well. There is no contradiction. I believe that the US will be wiped off the face of the planet as a super power after the rapture. We're the silent majority. I wish we'd speak up, but we remain silent...
