SEATTLE, Washington (Reuters) -- Microsoft Corp. said on Friday that its latest version of Office software inadvertently contained a font featuring two swastikas, and said it would offer tools to remove and replace the offending characters from the program.
The swastika, which was made infamous by Nazi Germany, was included in Microsoft's "Bookshelf Symbol 7" font. That font was derived from a Japanese font set, said Microsoft Office product manager Simon Marks

Wait...I'm confused...How does a swastika accidently get included in a font set? Someone has to draw it...

The swastika is not a symbol of evil.... The nazis used it but the original meaning of that symbol was four Ls. They stood for different things in different cultures but normally it comes out like this. Life Love Liberty Laud.... It has been found in several ancient cultures and in no way did they use it to represent evil.
The Iron Cross is the same thing. Its really a Maltese Cross. A religious symbol. Hardly evil sounding to me.

My perception of this symbol is one of power.

It saddens me that this is the level of crap this board is descending into.

Is it good, bad or neutral..
(I know that im supposed to say that it is evil..)
But i really dont feel that way..
And it is Swastika in all of its shapes that presents 'power' to me..
Not just the 'Nazi' flag..
(It just has the most striking colors..)
