the next administration will continue the Campaign
The stacked deck, hands have been dealt- already!

Exhibit #1: All the non-military sub-contractors.
you think independent contractors (civilians) are better prepared than Military & Combat Engineers...to fill the role of rebuilding Iraqi infrastructure???
**Nope, these civilians, are ultimately reasons to avenge terrorists...as they fall prey to bombs & snipers, and the USA response is to demonize these 'unlawful' and 'de-humanized' attacks on humanitarian efforts!

Exhibit #2: the PNAC documents...

theres more, but these 2 items should suffice to enlighten you doubters and idealists...that no matter who is the figurehead leader...a middle east presence is a 'mandatory requirement' to protect our 'way-of-life'...
which of necessity, is wrapped with a bringing freedom to a new-democratic-Iraq wrapper.
(essentially a poison pill...inside a candy wrapper)

enjoy the journey
(aint it like vouyers at the zoo, watching 'monkey island')
.....eom

As a matter of fact, yes, the civilian contractors are better able to rebuild Iraq. Army engineers are not into such things.

PNAC is a conservative think tank, it is not the illuminati. They do not issue marching orders to the government.

~~++~~

true, the logic would imply civilians would be more efficient...but that would be in a peaceful environment, like the EU or USA...not a hostile theatre like Iraq/Afghan

PNAC, et al, do not issue marching orders
they 'bounce ideas', propose policy objectives...
& they make known these think-tank goals & directions to the :
Public at Large (essentially the government)
Candidates for Office (as they adopt these 'agendas')
Political Steering Committees (self descriptive-as they are the-->'platform' makers)
etc etc etc

EOM (fur shure dis time)

These are really great comments! And yes, the army engineers really need to back off and let the Iraqi people rebuild their economy the way they like it so we are not as much hated. Other countries think we are trin to build Iraq as the U.S. (Can't happen). So, all the Muslium regions are trying to keep their cities and temples free from sky scrappers and so on and so forth.

Im not sure if the next US president will continue the war. If there was another major terror attack on America again, then maybe the next president will continue the war.

Do you really think the next non-bush president will actually have a choice. Remember who runs this country - not the president, congress, american voters etc. Big business and the "Elites" run this country. As long as they have something to gain, the wars will drag on and on, regardless of what anyone outside their sphere wants to happen. A more approprate question is "Will the actual puppet masters continue the war after the next election?" My answer is yes. They have much to gain still in Iraq, and many other sites worldiwde. And they will continue to proceed with the plan, untill all fall within their sphere of influence.

The ballots aren't really rigged, the deck is stacked against all else.

Dreamz is right, only Dennis Kucinich is promising to end the war and the WTO and the IMF and he'll never be elected. I think we are in Iraq and the Middle East for the long haul.

on the PNAC comments, they don't advise the government...they are the government. The folk that wrote the policies are safely tucked away in some of the most powerful cubby holes in Washington. They had this plan to increase US dominance and 9-11 gave them their opening. It sucks that Bush surrounded himself with these people. They think war is the answer to all our economic and security problems. It's obvious they didn't have clue of what they were talking about. All their theories have been proved wrong and hopefully we will uproot them out of our government come next November. Still, it's prolly too late.
