High-Caliber Pistols

Wow! I just got through listening to the trio of songs you posted by this group, which includes the other two songs:

BTS.music: Never Say Goodbye

BTS.music: Over and Over

Nice, polished productions. I need to learn how to do that.

Also, a very interesting set of influences, and a sound that makes me feel rather sentimental, being an old-timer who finds myself referring heavily to "ancient" archetypes in my own music (I may be stuck in the '80s).

I really liked the Campus Circle article you linked to. Aside from giving some background on the group, it points out some of the interesting changes in the musical landscape with the rise of the Internet and the widespread popularity of computer-based composition tools which "level the playing field", the effect of the glut of musical content available for free on the 'Net and the reduced importance of record labels in developing original content.

Very nice stuff to add to the playlist, and a pleasant discovery as I slowly seek to catch up on some podcasts before I dive into my next recording session.

Thank you, Majic. That's my nephew Eli's band and I just love them. And of course I claim bragging rights.

Here's Eli's CD, for more enjoyment. It'll grow on you, trust me!

That's all right, spaced. It's on the Honeydripper page.

Hey, did you download the whole album? Full versions of the songs? Because I can only get 2 minute lengths. Of course I have the CD.

I was just listening to the 2 minute streams.
A couple of them wouldn't play for me, for some reason.
I was going to try again on my home PC later..

Some of them won't play for me, either. He may have taken them down.

Guess you'll just have to buy the CD.
Yeah, that's a great idea! You'll be glad you did.
