Hey Hawker9 here from Zedd's Handbook is a page containing all the BB code you need: BBcode

A combination of url and img tags will enable the use of an image as a link.

Hawker,

[ url=http://www.abovetopsecret.com]abovetopsecret.com[ /url]
*minus the space after the [

...will get you this:
abovetopsecret.com

To do the same, but with an image ...
[ url=http://www.abovetopsecret.com][ img]http://images.abovetopsecret.com/ats5/logo2ats.gif[ /img][ /url]

... will get you this:

Again, *minus the space after the [

Hope this helps!?

As with Jak's recommendation, Zedd has put together a rather comprehensive set of BBcode instructions and examples for ATS members.

Yes, go to your memCenter

, use the "upload" feature

, then copy and paste the provided URL into the avatar URL in your profile. Save ... and you're good to go!

Hey Hawker9,

I had that problem too (only recently), it turned out to be my firewall.

Instead of using the ATS upload feature you could get a free account with an online hosting service like photobucket or something similar. Upload your images there and then C&P the URL they give you for your image into your avatar space (settings---->edit profile.)

Hope that helps....

I just want to add something to this thread:

There is no such thing as a dumb question.
If you don't know how to do something, you need to ask.
The members of ATS are always willing to help others find the information they are looking for.
That's why we're a community.

Google is an amazing tool, but not all answers are there.
The ATS members can give you more insight into their own software programs they recommend from personal experience.
The older members know all the ins and outs of the ATS boards, and this is the best way to get that information.
Even if you feel it's a dumb question, ask anyway...........
Other members will direct you to the answer with a link to previous ATS threads with the information or an outside link for what you need.

Even if a member tells you to do a search, that search will lead you to an answer.......

Here's two places to start....
ATS Tag Search
ATS Boolean Search

EDIT: You can always put a subject tag at the bottom of your new thread, submit the tag, then click your own tag. This will bring you to all the threads with the same tags.
