House Intel Chairman announces ‘serious national security threat,’ sources say it is related to Russia

House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner has made information concerning a “serious national security threat” available to all members of Congress to review, the committee said on Wednesday.

While Turner and the White House remained vague on what the threat entailed, two sources and a US official tell CNN the threat is related to Russia. Multiple sources familiar with the intelligence characterized it as “very sensitive.”

One of the sources who has seen the intelligence confirmed that “it is, in fact, a highly concerning and destabilizing” Russian capability “that we were recently made aware of.” But House Speaker Mike Johnson later sought to soothe concerns about the unspecified threat, saying there is “no cause for alarm.”

Hold on a second. Someone in the government is giving "very sensitive" information to people at CNN, and they are publishing that information? I hope the Ecuadorian embassy in London is finished cleaning up after Julian Assange. They're going to have a few new residents soon.

Obviously none of the world’s nations have the capability to put a satellite in space. You’d think people on a conspiracy website would have figured that out by now. So this talk about Russia putting nukes in space is pure hogwash.

Actually I thought about that one, because the latest Chinese breach was on the information used within the bases around the US, right civil and civilan workers can not longer log in at home while working from home due to the breach.

Let's hope Russia isn't headed to a Scorched Space policy. Debris from just one or 2 blown up satellites would surround the earth with a cloud of floating debris caught in the orbit that could prevent anyone from launching anything into space for a very long time.

So would a load of thousands of ball bearings aka BB’s blown outward from a ICBM to float in orbit for years, taking out satellites and manned space ships.

Basically a Space Shotgun.

Problem with inertial reaction, and loss of orbit by the majority of particles, and it would not discriminate and would hamper all space activity, even Russian.

Try to keep in mind tha last time your overlords claimed the "Russians" did something to us.
