We just set a single month record for illegal border crossings - that we know of. Yes, it is worse now under biden than it has ever been before.

That's not a statement on the Biden Administration's refusal to enforce immigration laws. It's because problems have escalated in countries, and more and more desperate people are fleeing and winding up at the US border.

Surely this concept is not lost on you. If it is, perhaps this subject is beyond your purview.

You know the president doesn't write laws and executive orders are just temporary band aids, right?
Sounds to me like Congress needs to get of their collective arses and do some immigration lawmaking.

I think this will end up being more fanfare than anything. But I still wonder why we need a law to arrest people for doing something illegal? Illegal Alien. Illegal. Its right there in the title - Illegal Alien. If its illegal, its illegal, and you get arrested for it. So we pass a law that makes it okay to enforce other laws. I don't see this ending well....How many rounds of laws that make it legal to enforce laws do you need before its okay to actually enforce laws?

I think the main reason why Texas did this was because those entrusted with enforcing the law, the Federal Government, is not doing their job. So, Texas wrote legal laws to allow them to enforce the law. I think they did what they have done in the most legal and official way possible. And I also think it will be the most effective way.
