What was actually said was that if Putin gets away with Ukraine US troops may be called on to defend any NATO country that Putin might attack.

This was escalated by our people to sending troops, not a peep out of any NATO country about doing that is there? The NATO charter also lays out the finacial responsibilities of member nation's. Seems that has been a huge problem that only Trump actually pointed out and acted on. Other problem you yourself pointed out, the NATO treaty applies to member nation's, which the Ukraine is not. The US will more than likely be pulled into the situation with Venezuela before too long. That is in our backyard and of strategic importance. I can't help but notice all the Ukraine talking points don't seem to apply to that issue. Another country ignoring borders to annex land containing strategic resources, where are all the I stand with Guyana flags in all of this? I'll tell you why, we are protecting Bidens interests in the Ukraine not the United States!
