Ace Frehley - First Release from his New Album

Ace has been talking up this album for a while now even though it isn't releasing until Feb 24 so no better time than to release the title track "10,000 Volts" to an awaiting public.

The track was uploaded a couple of hours ago.


My personal opinion : I quite like it and it will probably grow on me more the more I hear it , first thought was it sounds like an Ozzy song with Ace sounding a bit Ozzyish in the opening , it's nicely produced but it doesn't do anything different , perhaps the other songs will.

Granted, listening to 72 year old Ace sing about how he's still trying to find the "right one" might be a little cliche, but c'mon man it's ACE!

It sounds like Ozzy and Kiss teamed up for an album. The title and lyrics are sooo Kiss, but the singing is def seasoned with Ozzy. Maybe Ace is needing some cash.

Bumped for effort. Ace bangin' the Cherryburst is
probably good enough for now.. but I'd like to get

Most of the Kiss army are rotated off the floor, if not
somewhat arthritic -- so I won't be jumping around on
too many 'all night'-ers. I'll reserve an opinion on Ace's
work when the whole package shows up. SoFar YoGood.

Somewhere I've got a Frehley's Comet cassette cover signed on the back by Ace, Anton Fig, and another guy from the late 80s when they did a record signing in Dayton, OH. May have been Dingleberry's if anyone from Dayton in that era remembers the place.

My biggest memory is "Geez he's one ugly dude." LOL. But man, they put on a show at Hara Arena.
