Travis King in US custody after being expelled by North Korea

Earlier today the DPRK said they had finished questioning Private Travis King and that he had confessed to illegally entering the country , North Korea said that it planned to deport the US soldier but news within the last hour says he has now been handed over to the US in China and is back in US custody.

US soldier Travis King, who fled to North Korea in July, is in American custody after being expelled by Pyongyang, officials say.
According to US media reports, Private King was transferred to US custody in China.
The 23-year-old reconnaissance specialist illegally crossed into North Korea in July.
His condition and the details of his confinement in North Korea remain unclear.

Time to face the music Mr King.

The kid is more trouble than he's worth and intelligence wise, he doesn't know anything that's worth the headache of keeping him fed and healthy.

The military, when I joined up, would have absolutely eviscerated King for what he pulled. Defecting, treason, etc. We'll see if the all new woke and understanding military will take appropriate action. He was probably going to be separated anyway in the end, but now he's got some potentially lengthy consequences coming.

We'll see if another standard is destroyed or indeed upheld.

And maybe get promoted with retroactive backpay during his brief prison stay, ala Beau Bergdahl.

We'll just have to wait and see if the current Obama administration handles this the same way he did with Beau.....
