From the Beeb

Scientists have grown an entity that closely resembles an early human embryo, without using sperm, eggs or a womb.

The Weizmann Institute team say their "embryo model", made using stem cells, looks like a textbook example of a real 14-day-old embryo.

It even released hormones that turned a pregnancy test positive in the lab.

Well, well, well, so here we have an "entity" that, for all intents and purposes, is a 14 day old Embryo. One could even say it was a Biological, non human entity.

You have to wonder what would happen if this Non Human Biological Entity went full term and then grew up?

Strange times folks.

Since the stem cells used to create the model were, in fact human (per ther referenced article),

The biological entity that, logically, would be developed would, also, be human.

"Quasi-parthenogenic" perhaps, but human nevertheless.

That's interesting!
Now there is a scientific fact that you don't need xx and xy chromosomes for reproduction...

That'll be a fun OP to quote

Of course you do.
Unless trans activists and gender ideologues have suddenly become experts in genetics and genetic engineering.

No space here for pushing the trans ideology.

Lord help me. . .

Read a book.

Sperm and eggs are Haploid cells, the stem cells are Diploid cells.

Remember when that sheep ''Dolly'' first hit the news cycle? All the ''what if, what if's'' and '' we gotta stop this'' that went on, as if Dolly was the only one. Hah, found that amusing. Of course it wasn't going to stop.

Now this. Is this the first or only the first to h it the news cycle. Also, the article you provide says that these are not embyos but rather models and that growth beyond a certain limit are all ready limited by law in many countries. But none of this makes mention of those who would go 'beyond the laws.''

Indeed, strange times. All over the place.................

Worth quoting just to repeat it to get that fact across.

Seriously though, they are screwing with things that they shouldn't be.

I know you are excited but biological males still won’t be able to get pregnant.

Fact.

and doesn't guarantee a viable human child let alone a viable adult either.. nor that their creators will allow them access to human rights.

though for the ultra rich/corporates creating a throw away humans will be cheaper than creating specific robotics, the ultimate serf..

In my opinion, they've already been cloning humans.

of course but if the rich continue to embrace civil genocide of the billions of humans on the planet they'll naturally want to replace those human with a servant class and live as gods over them..

no one else will drink their mush, goo, poo water and insects..

When you're a trans activist you actually don't need any biology on your side and zero science speaking more generally.

Just come up with whatever you want, believe men can give birth, or that men can suddenly transform to women or trees can become trans.

All these ideas are equally valid.

So you have now come to the conclusion you don't need men and women for reproduction?! We're over 8 billion people on this planet. Can you tell me one human being who isn't a result of reproduction or who hasn't been born from a woman?

And IIRC, "Dolly" had a rather short lifespan. Wasn't a perfect outcome for the lab-coat boys.

Sooo?

You still don't need a union between a haploid shooting and haploid breeding person to create life.

Basically xx doing it with xy is not a fundamental requirement for human survival anymore....

Carry on

That is where you are wrong:

The researchers stress it would be unethical, illegal and actually impossible to achieve a pregnancy using these embryo models

Also

They are not normal human embryos, they're embryo models [/qupte]
