Definitely saving this, always looking for a better gumbo or jambalaya. Not to mention shrimp and grits and andouille sausage, and various Po Boy recipes.

Just reading one recipe made me want gumbo and its 6 in the morning ...

Thanks already printed our 4 recipes! It took me 20 years but I finally found how to grill salmon on the grill Cajan blackened. I use overnight marinade, pre grill in a tinfoil pan along with cooking spray direct to the grill grates.

I was born just outside of New Orleans , as Dad was stationed there for a while.
I am a natural born Georgian.
You can take my truck.
My wife , maybe .
My grits , NEVER .
They can take my life , but they can't take my grits !!!!!!

I'm not much for Cajun food, we have some cajun seasoning to use on baked fish we use occasionally, but that is about it.

Lots of people like Cajun food, but the wife and I are not enthused about it. I will eat it sometimes in small quantities but the wife never eats it, paprika on deviled eggs is just about as cajun as she will go.
