I was looking at the air quality map on windy.com and found a peculiar deep dark red patch in the northern part of Canada like almost nowhere on Earth can be found. All the more strange since there are no ship, major airports or road traffic in the area. So clearly there must be something there that you can't find anywhere else on the earth. If you look on google maps this is what you find:

imgur.com...

Anyone got any idea what kind of installation could produce pollution like nowhere else on Earth?

To lazy to type it in myself..

Anyway the installation is Wildboy Gas Plant.

There have been huge wildfires in the area that could explain the heatmap, here is a link to a old article.

There are several “wildfires” in the area… Canada doesn’t seem very interested in doing much about trying to extinguish them…

If that were a wildfire it would suggest there are no other comparable wildfires anywhere on the planet. And it's not a heat map. It's a pollution map. NO2, aerosol, and the like.

During a wildfire, the combustion of organic material releases various pollutants into the atmosphere. NO2 is one of the primary pollutants emitted during wildfires. It is formed through the high-temperature oxidation of nitrogen-containing compounds found in vegetation and organic matter. NO2 is a reddish-brown gas with a pungent odor and is known to contribute to the formation of smog and respiratory issues.

In addition to NO2, wildfires also produce aerosols. Aerosols are tiny solid or liquid particles suspended in the air. These particles can include ash, soot, and other combustion byproducts. Wildfire aerosols can have a significant impact on air quality and can be transported over long distances. They can affect visibility, climate, and human health, as well as contribute to the formation of haze and atmospheric pollution.

Looks to be 5 tanks of something in the top picture and just off to the left from the center next to what looks like a forest.

Maybe they are leaking something nefarious into the atmosphere?

According to Google Earth, it is the Wildboy Gas Plant - Oil & natural gas company Northern Rockies A, BC V0C 1R0 Canada.

Erickson National Energy Inc website

The website looks a bit amateur. LOL.

I did not just look at that.
if you look around you see big tall round tanks?
they are in a cleard square of land.
There must be many 100s of them maybe 1000s.
and odd Very strait roads all over?
old and new missile silos?

it looks like they are very old with new buildings.
the odd roads go a Long way up.
and you get the odd Old airport.
that looks like small planes still use it.

found big odd car door thing. the window is a lake?
59.841380 -120.744583 on the left is a runway.
Far to many roads for canada.
why is just this small bit black't out?
