A lot of people were able to predict it though. I mean you can cry about the game being unfair for him somehow, but if he can't do his job then someone else will either way.

His job? He was being interviewed for his somewhat expert opinion.

Crying? I'm simply pointing out how difficult it can be to try to guess what the batsnip insane folks in the State Dept are going to do from one minute to the next.

What I like about him is he is extremely level headed, and is not a war monger.

"Somewhat expert"? I agree it's fake, but officially his job is being a researcher of "national strategic studies". Being interviewed isn't a job.

Just because something is hard doesn't make it impossible. People do difficult things every day.

here's the very first prediction, three days after the war started,

"If they don't surrender in the next 24 hours, I suspect Russia will ultimately annihilate them."
Speaking to Fox News three days after the Ukraine invasion began, Macgregor suggested that the conflict was already nearing an end:

then a few days later,

"The first five days Russian forces I think frankly were too gentle," he said. "They've now corrected that. So, I would say another 10 days this should be completely over." "I think Zelensky is a puppet, and he is putting huge numbers of his own population in unnecessary risk," Macgregor added. "I don't see anything heroic about the man. I think the most heroic thing he could do right now is come to terms with reality. Neutralize Ukraine."

What 'Putin Wing' Ex-Colonel Douglas Macgregor Has Said About Ukraine War

listen to everything he's saying in this and think about what we know has happened, and what it looks like now and tell me now this ol farty sh@@ shoveler knows what gonna happen. as i said he just changes his dates and theory to fit.

I am actually surprised that people would want to listen to what a homophobic racist has to say.

But then again, maybe i am not.

His 'job' is being a retired Colonel in the Army, and an author.

But I'll just ask - does he get paid for doing the researching (which is apparently just a hobby that he does because he enjoys it, and to be well informed when being interviewed), or the interviews?

He is, in fact, very knowledgeable, but has been out of the official loop for quite some time, hence the 'somewhat' qualification.

Just because you think you know more than you do, doesn't mean you're not an idiot.

He probably gets paid by China or something, I don't know.

All I'm saying is I accurately predicted the things he failed to predict. That doesn't necessarily mean he's an idiot, maybe he doesn't care about being right. But I can't know that one way or another. All I have to go on is what he says.

Col MacGregor is trying to educate the uninformed masses in the US so we can possibly try a new path other than war. Clearly, you are being misinformed or just are uninformed.

The Democrat leadership (stupidly) is pissing off every other country in the East (except for Ukraine obviously since they are down with getting some profit out of this conflict for a natural resource grab on this countries behalf). Also to push their one world Agenda.

Did you even watch the video?

Who is pissed?
What countries?

for spewing bad research in interviews he does, all networks pay their Guests some little to nothing some six figures. just depend on who they are, and what they are commenting of. all networks pay their guest something.

Across cable news, the salaries paid to on-air contributors remain shrouded in mystery, ranging by network and by market demand for the contributor's expertise. But, because at least 10 former Fox News contributors have served in Donald Trump's administration and been forced to file financial disclosure forms, a window into the network's payroll has been opened.

Fox News Contributor Salaries Revealed in Financial Disclosures

macgreor being a trump nominee for a ambassadorship, and senior advisor to a acting secretary of defense probably rakes in the big bucks from fox and a pretty penny from everybody else. so yeah he does get paid.

When did I say I'm a legend? There's nothing legendary about it since many people have done it. It may be too hard for Macgregor, but a non-retarded person can pull it off.

I can remember Macgregor saying when asked that he receives no money for interviews. He does it because he believes the Washington war mongers are leading people up the garden path.

He has been right quite often, but when he has been wrong he has been very wrong.

The idea that Russia would quickly overwhelm Ukrainian forces at the start was very wrong. Russia sent in a (relatively) small force with strict rules around engagement against a huge Ukrainian army that had been trained and equipped by the west for nearly a decade. It now looks obvious that Putin thought this would bring peace talks, which was a huge underestimation and a mistake. Hence the resulting mobilisation since.

The Russian "winter offensive" that never really happened. It's simply not that type of war. The Ukrainians have had a long time to plan and fortify positions they now occupy. They (the Ukraine) have been in a western funded war against their own people in these regions for 9 yrs. Russia's encircling moves in certain key areas haven't completely worked for this reason and because of non favourable ground conditions. The fighting is often taking place in residential/commercial/industrial areas very slowly, block by block.

The Russians are doing it though. Slowly but inexorably. Unless the Ukrainians can mount a decent counter attack in certain areas soon, the Russians will take them.

A reasonable guess (which is all we can really do) is that once they secure the south/east regions they will regroup and move along the south west, ultimately leaving Ukraine landlocked. Russia has a huge number of troops they haven't utilised yet.

The Ukraine is now around 20% smaller than when they started, has a hugely reduced population, their infrastructure decimated, production capacity crippled and with a gdp that has shrunk by about 33%. Yet somehow people think they are going to win this? The fact is they have already lost, no matter what happens from here.

As soon as the flow of western funds slows down they will collapse. Or when the US decides it has had enough of their latest plaything and throws them to the wolves as they inevitably do and have done in past, that will be the end of the Ukraine as a modern nation state.

I agree that Russia has the momentum right now, but do you seriously think they'd be able to get back on the Dnieper west bank? That would be way harder than taking Bakhmut, which has already taken them several months so far. I think that could happen maybe next year, but only if Western supports stops coming like you said. In the current situation it's impossible, and especially if we increase artillery shell production to sufficient levels.

The winter offensive went on for a few months, you could see it in reported casualties at least if you trust those. It just didn't get far. Now the ground has been muddy for a while.

So, is it safe to say that if Chian doesn't do things like invade Tiwian or Japan etc then they most likely will have zero issues from the west?
