Rush from 1988 upscaled to 2K by youtuber and fan "StickHits" , the boys are in their prime and Geddy has his "Davy Crockett" hairstyle , the song , sound and vision are awesome and once again Neil Peart's Drum solo is on another level , Pure genius.

RiP Neil , a loss still felt.

Thank you Gortex, this is what my Saturday needs.

In retrospect, Lego man is creeping me out.

edit: by the way, I have this on VHS. So it's not as clean.

And what a great album , I think it's one of those albums that many of us carry as a yardstick for brilliance.

Absolutely love Rush and watch the drum solo quite a bit. My brother turned me on to Rush and Peart had a killer solo then with "Working Man"

Saw them during the Subdivisions tour, and easily my favorite Ive seen

dig this reaction video doesn't the new version has elements from that Working Man solo from the 70s

I used to love it when you would first get thier albums and listen to the whole thing straight through, I miss that shift. Damn you could chill for a whole evening

reading the liner notes and the lyrics...

really like the drum solo from Red Lenses it's even better live but I can't find a good version

"Moving Pictures" is one of the greatest rock albums ever.

I figure that since I bought my first copy in the 80s, I wore out a few cassette copies and several CDs as well.

"YYZ" helped me obtain my first speeding ticket.

Rush was always good driving tunes but YXZ's building tempo, I completely get it, I used to drive for a living

That's how I know my all-time favorite albums went from having the album, cassette, and CD as a teen young adult and then a decade or so later downloading the mp3s all went on my first mp3 player then later the Apple Store for ITouch and I Phone and lastly to Spotify.

Hell You lose count of how many you have bought over the years

Is it as good as Bonham's 17 minute long solo ?

YYZ and Subdivisions are two of my favorite Rush driving songs.

Thank you for that. That was awesome. I wonder if there is a stretch that I could use for a creative routine in there ...

Bonham was a great drummer but Peart was a master percussionist , for me Neil Peart was the GOAT.

No doubt they're having a drum off as we speak.

"Red Barchetta"... that one gives me serious "acceleratoritis". "YYZ" just happened to be playing when the state patrol lit me up.

Red Barchetta is an excellent story song and it's about driving, but YYZ and Subdivisions especially just sound like traffic.

In fact, this scene:

from the Abrams NuTrek made me wonder if the script writer had listened to Red Barchetta.

+A question for our law enforcement members...

If you pull a guy over doing 75 in a 65... and he says "I'm sorry officer, I was listening to Rush..."

Would you give that guy a break?

I sure as hell would
